I've been a fan of this series since not long after the first book was written and released, and it's stayed on my top 5 list of favorites.
Thank You Elle, for such great writing, wonderful entertainment, and your hard work!
I usually finish a book the first day it comes out, but I've been unusually busy and had to read this much slower than I wanted to.
I will leave a longer review, soon, but I wanted to get this down since I just finished the book.
I don't know why anyone would hesitate to read this, but if for some reason you are, or you're have any doubts about purchasing it-don't. Get it and read it, ASAP. You'll LOVE it. It's just as great as books 1-8!
With each book in a series the characters are suppose to mature and make better decisions. But nope! Elle decided to make Jayne more dense and (spoiler alert) pregnant by boring Spike. I'm seriously upset and dissatisfied
Travel back to back to her home didn’t work for me. Where was her other self who should have been there. Not fond Of most time travel stories and this path left too many holes.
Story did get back on track
But thank goodness for wyverns. I really enjoyed reading the book after that point!
Oh and thanks for leaving us on a cliffhanger again! I have already pre-ordered your Nextbook and I hope it wraps everything up in a bow like it's supposed to.😄

There were times where I totally embraced where we were in the whole timeline of things and then there were time where I was screaming in my head that something was horribly wrong and this couldn't be happening. But I loved it all the same. It meant more new characters mixed in with the ones I already love so much and I am looking forward to see what's in their future.
The story line its self had me on the edge of my seat and unable to put the book down. I was completely consumed with everything going on and desperately needed to know what was coming next and I can honestly say that I was disappointed at any point. It made me feel so many things and made me want so many things which I ended up getting and more. Hell there were parts where jaw quite literally hit the ground in shock too.
I am.so.excited to start the next book to see what comes next for Jayne and her fae family.
Books 1-8 were fantastic and really engaging.
Not sure if I will read No 10.
Elle Casey let a lot of fans down as she kept promising books 9 & 10. Several years and other books later it feels like she half heartedly wrote them just to shut us up.
