He stops to find shelter. He finds a cave he thinks abandoned. In walks Holly in a bright light shielding herself. Once Thomas sees her without the light he immediately goes my mate. Holly fights it. Will Thomas get his angel? Will they keep evil from getting stronger? Come on in and find out.

Oh my...such a sweet and funny story about an angel and a dragon caught in a storm! We meet Tomas and Holly. Well we know of Tomas in book 10 briefly. So, we dont know much about him. He's a dragon from 2 pure dragons which sorta makes him royalty hes a gold/red dragon. Instead of ruling he just wants to be a Dragon Guard and protect his people and innocents. Hes a great guy and sweet and funny. As a favor to Rayne he drops off a package to Maddox, but after doing that he's now stuck in a blizzard and his wings froze. So, he sought shelter in a cave. Then we meet Holly and very beautiful Angel on her last flight/mission before she is to find her mate. Well...shes always been told she'd mate with a fellow Christmas Angel. So, she is really confused and freaked out about this pull to Tomas. Spending time together and obviously fate can't be denied...they quickly bond mentally...but not mate quite yet. There is someone who is in need of help. They have both forces pulling them light and dark and Holly and Tomas work together to bring it/her into the light. Its actually really heartwarming. I loved the story and meeting Holly and Tomas. Hopefully we get to see more of them later. This was a novella length about 120 pages or so. Went sooo fast! I think whats really funny is these younger dragons have a hard time blocking their thoughts from others haha. Talk about embarrassing! :)

This is my first dragon shifter book, and now I discover it's the eleventh one of a group of twelve - so far! Talk about stepping into a whole new world! But I loved it, right from the start. Tomas is a very powerful and very old dragon, and one reason for his power is that he was born of two dragons, a red and a gold. He longs for his mate, but nearly despairs of ever finding her. But now he has found her, and she's not the dragon he was expecting - she's an angel! And together they are more powerful than either one was alone, a truly magical mixture, capable of doing great good. (And of making you laugh out loud while you're reading, so take my advice, and don't try to explain why you're laughing so hard to the folks around you. They'll think you're crazy!) I "bought" it for free on Amazon this morning, and you can do the same. I hope you get it, 'cause I know you'll enjoy it. The book was short but we'll written. While part of a series it can be read as a stand alone if you skip the epilogue. I have really enjoyed this series following the dragon shifters while they meet their mates and fight evil along the way. While all of the dragon's mates are strong independent women, this one has a twist where she is older and stronger than him. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Tomas is returning from his mission when he is delayed by a winter storm. Little did he know of the surprise the storm has for him.
Holly is a christmas angel is on mission as well. She has no idea what the mission is or any way to communicate with her commander and family. Holly takes shelter from the storm in a near by cave. The wonders people find when taking shelter from the storm.
The attraction between Holly and Tomas is magical. Holly tries to fight it but Tomas knows that they're meant to be. He just has to convince her of that.
The story is very sweet and makes one wish that there were men like Tomas and the guardsmen around. These books are stand alone stories, but it's best to read them in order. The last chapter of each book leads to the next story in the series.

I was very happy to read the latest in one of my favorite Dragon series ever. It was very interesting to learn the origin of the character I thought I already knew and the major choice that he had made to put him where he was.

This is the story of Tomas and Holly. Who is a Christmas angel. As every book progresses I am amazed at how the author is able to pull it in different characters that match the strength of the dragon who is there mate. The epilogue filled me with joy as well when I learned whose story was coming next.

While this book can be read as a standalone I highly suggest you start from the beginning because all of the characters and themes continue through each progressive book. Not to mention that you will enjoy the series even more when you know what has been going on from the beginning.

As Tomas is single it falls to him to deliver something important just before Christmas, but on the way home, he gets snowbound in a cave. However, it is the home of a Christmas Angel called Holly who is on one of her missions. He recognises her immediately as his mate, but she is adamant that she cannot mate with a dragon. It seems that the Universe and the Heavens have a plan of their own for them both if only he can persuade her.

This is a lovely Christmas story that tells of how yet another Dragon Guardsman found his mate in the most unexpected situation. Enjoyable story that is well written and easy to understand. Contains some sexual content.
