About the Author

Adam Rubin is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of ten critically acclaimed picture books. He spent ten years working as a creative director in the advertising industry before leaving his day job to write full time. Adam also has a keen interest in magic tricks, puzzles, and optical illusions. In fact, he is the official "director of puzzles and games" for the wonderful website Art of Play.

Daniel Salmieri is an artist, illustrator, and author from Brooklyn, NY. He has illustrated twelve picture books including the New York Times best seller, Dragons Love Tacos. Daniel is a regular contributor to several magazines and newspapers including The New Yorker and the New York Times, and works on a wide array of projects from packaging design to branding. He currently lives with his wife, son, and their dog Ronni in New York City.

I was one of the people who recieved an email this book was coming out and preordered it. My kid loves Dragons Loves Tacos and my husband and I do too. It's one of the few books we don't get tired of reading. This one is a flop. It's like the writers had a commitment to make another book and forgot about it until the day before their deadline. The art is awful. Did someone else illustrate it? Did we switch hands to mix it up a bit? My four year old points out the "wonky dog" every time this book accidently gets picked for bedtime. In addition, the story is no good. It doesn't feel like the other book in any way. Time travel could have been a great idea (although still not the same feel) but it was not executed well. This is yet another sequel that shouldn't have happened. Super bummed.
