I'm a KA fan. I really am. But enough already with packing in every single character from every single previous book. I'm over the Rock Chicks. I know, I know, that blasphemy. I thought since this was a new series, we'd get a fresh take, but it's the same story. Girl and guy meet, girl has troubles, guy tries to help, girl insists she can do it herself with the help of more people than anyone actually has in their posse. If you like that, this book is perfect for you. It just didn't do it for me.

I liked it well enough compared to some of her last books which have been "how to" manuals on listening to the man as the head of the house hold and dont talk back. the hero in this was really nice and I enjoyed him. The reason I gave this 3 and not 4 had nothing to do with the heroine and everything to do with the stupid rock chicks showing up with their annoying presence, wise cracks and cheesy jokes. I wanted to read this series not the rock chick series which is my least fave series by KA because those women drive me up the wall and overstep boundaries in too many ways to list. The only reoccurring character who didnt make a surprise appearance is the suede coat with fringes :o/ I started thinking the heroines must lend that same coat to each other for every new book or the state of colorado had a sale on suede fringe coats.

I am excited about the series featuring all of the strippers that we got to know and I'm def interested in the men in their group and the potential relationships that we see brewing.

I do agree that the character development has become identical and that its hard to tell any more with KA books what is different. They all talk the same, act the same and do the same stuff. The alpha grunting hero and the simpering heroine with big hair and her boho wardrobe.

This is the first Ashley book that I haven't been able to complete - and I even finished the subpar Kaleidoscope and Jagged edge. I skipped to the end to see what happened, then realized I didn't care. I couldn't connect to the main characters and the story was just really boring and predictable ( even for her formulaic writing.) And by throwing in so many past characters it felt like she was just trying to get new readers to buy her old (fantastic) books. I mean, I loved Motorcycle Man, but did we really need Tack in this book? Or the Rock Chicks? I really miss the way Ms. Ashley used to suck us into a story, even when we knew it'd end well ( hello Sweet Dreams) As a fan of hers I'm just really sad now....

I loved the Rock Chicks from beginning to end and I’m thrilled that the first book in this spinoff series was written in the same vein. It took me some time to find the opportunity to dig into the Dream Team, but holy heck, I am thrilled at how awesome it is to see so much alpha goodness!

This was pure reading comfort. Reading this was like curling up under a warm blanket during a cold snap. Evan and Mag were the type of hero and heroine that I adore. I love that she was tough but soft, giving him the chance to showcase all his alpha tendencies, which I love.

This had plenty of action and drama, along with plenty of intensely steamy moments. Was this what I would expect to happen in real life. Nope. And that’s one reason why I loved it so much. Give me all the injured heroines, angry heroes, crazy friends, and outrageous moments of danger. Add in smexy times that are kindle melting good, and I’m a very happy reader.

Like always this author gave us another great book. I loved that Evan was unusual, a little weird but still relatable, likable and super smart. Ok don't think I've read a lot of stories with a super smart women especially one who still seemed real and relatable. I loved Mag, well maybe not for all of a hot second then he won me over. I loved that he was a commando but that he wasn't afraid to be goofy and affectionate but could also be passionate and take charge whenever it was needed. Mag or Danny had a lot of things that made him and his personality so lovable. This story was filled with romance, some action, a little heart ache/anger and more than a little laughter that all wrapped up with an adorable & hot HEA. If you have read any of this authors other stories we do get to spend times with a lot of the other characters/couples from a variety of her series and get a peak at where they are and how their futures are. And that's one more part I love about this author we Not only get a peak, like it's a side thought or a snippet but Old characters can and do play parts big and small in future stories like this and I love it. Now I love bed this book and have fallen in love with another group of characters. I can't wait for Rynn & Boone's story, & I hope the secret he divulged about himself in this book is explored in depth in his. And while I hope we get to see all of the couple's get together that were hinted at doing so, I would really hope we would get Hattie & Axel's story to because just the fix bits gathered here make it sound like it would be good. Log d this book and the dream team that lives within its pages would definitely recommend.

If you have read and a big fan of the Rock Chick series, Dream Man or even Chaos then you will just fall in love with Kristen Ashley's new series Dream Team. Dream Maker is book one in the Dream Team Series and I can tell you that you will just fall in love with this book and new cast of tough females. This is Evan's "Evie" story. Evan is a little clumsy, works at Smithies and fed up with her family. Enter Mag "Danny" and watch the sparks fly. Mag is a commando and so protective of Evan from the very start. I love their chemistry. Mag and Evan will put a smile on your face as they navigate the Rock Chicks, Dream Team, Hot Bunch, Chaos and so on. You get everything you want out of this one even Tex. I'm so in love with this book. I can't wait for more Dream Team and the women of Smithies, plus all of my favorite KA characters. I couldn't put this one down. GO ONE CLICK IT TODAY. First of all I feel the need to rant I paid £6.99 and for the first quarter of the book I was already lost. I love Kristen Ashley's books not all of them are my genre so I reserve the right to choose which series I read and which ones I do not. Having decided I did not want to read the Rock Chic series it seems that you are then at a disadvantage if you want to read another (whats with all this crossover of series's), not just one character, every one from every book shes ever written (okay slight exaggeration). So first of all I'm trying to get a hang on who everybody is and then the shameful advertising when Evan is in a bookshop with all her rock chic friends and guess what Evan is given a rock chic book to read!. Any mahoo rant over I did like the book it lost a star for me as it had too many people in it and Kristen was obviously getting ready to set all these characters up for their own books, again pushing more books at you when she could have been paying more attention to the story in hand. Lol did I say rant over. Loved Danny, loved nerdy Evan, love me a happy ending just don't make me pay to be advertised to in future.

I do love Kristen Ashley stories, and I really enjoyed this first book in the Dream Maker series about Evie and Mag, friend and fellow Commando to Mo. I loved the characters and the storyline; however it was very much on a par with the Rock Chick books with criminals and kidnapping all over the place, which you have to take with a pinch of salt most of the time; and lots of Rock Chick characters popping up
Lottie from the preface book is determined to set up her fellow strippers with Mo's commando friends, and I'm looking forward to the next story of Boone and the reluctant Ryn.

New spin off to Rick Chick series with strippers from Smithies. Evan ‘Evie’ is a very nerdy awkward stripper but has a massive heart.
When her brother is arrested and he asks her to look after a bag think get complicated when it goes missing and really bad people are looking for it. Daniel’Mag’ is her bodyguard but that make thing really awkward because they had a terrible date a few night previously.
I love this new spin off. Has a similar feel like rock chicks but has it’s own feel too. Absolutely love Kristen Ashley is the queen of badass main female characters but also has fantastic support characters they you absolutely love.

I find myself sadly disappointed by Dream Maker. The book, of which this is the first in a new series runs on exactly the same format as the original Rock Chicks, but these chickies are younger (not by much) and they are all Smithies strippers. The old gang pops in and out. We have the dysfunctional family she enables and the hot guy rescue, the kidnapping and failed protection routine.. These hot guys all belong to Hawk's crew and Lottie decides to play matchmaker.
