This is a compilation of numbers taken from many previous wiggle dvds with some new renditions

This is a Wiggles DVD. There are reviews posted here for the movie Duets with Paltrow and so there is some confusion. This dvd has the new Wiggles singing with guests redoing many songs previously sung by other Wiggles. There aren't any true duets. There are some new songs which are in keeping with the original wiggles spirit such as a song sung in Maori as well as English and a funny song sung by David and Simon which is an Opera classic set to words about food. Do the pretzels is a cute song but has no special dance to it. Literally they are just holding a pretzel. In old Wiggle s time there would probably be Irish dancers and an entire routine. Simon's other offering was Sam Moran's We three kings with Sam's voice cut out and Simons voice inserted instead with the original recording here and there. Very out of place for a Christmas song on a mixed musical offering and the remix doesn't work. the Wiggle s also pulled other singers formed performances and added the new Wiggle to it- such as with slim Rusty and Steve Irwin. Also Kylie Minogue. It was good to see Troy singing again as well aa Christine An u especially since this was a new performance. Overall ok but Wiggly World and Ukele Baby are much better choices

Great talent but tied together poorly.

This should have been a really great movie, but in the end there were too many questions left unanswered (many directors do this on purpose of course, but that's not the feel here). And because one scene (I don't want to spoil the movie for you) is audio only and you can't see what actually happened--a gimmick that doesn't work--it's easy to come to a conclusion that makes you hate the main character rather than support and sympathize, so that in the end maybe the wrong person prevails. Great cast, great theme for a movie, and great music, but an odd, uncomfortable, and frankly ridiculous last 10 minutes.

excellent acting

This is a drama with music as a way to link the stores of three couples. Gwyneth Paltrow and Paul Giamatti, both Academy Award winners, give impressive performances in this film. The plot is well conceived and structured to move the story along quickly. Maria Bello and Huey Lewis are a plus in the film with their strong performances. It is a film that has been overlooked, but is full of drama and poignant moments.

Treat yourself to a karaoke night!

This video rates among our top ten favorites to watch anytime with anyone regardless of the company or mood and especially if you need a boost. The karaoke entertainment is awesome. It makes you feel like trying it out some night. It contains an all star cast that includes Huey Lewis, Paul Giamatti, and Gwyneth Paltrow. I am leaving one karaoke surprise for you when a black actor sings a great song a cappella it sends chills down your spine. All of the duet karaoke singers have been brought together by some tragic flaw that is resolved through this venue. It's a must have for any video collection.

Cutest video ever!! One of our favorite wiggles dvds!!! Highly recommend!!!
My two year old son is obsessed with the wiggles and has been for over a year now! I never knew he would enjoy watching them as much as he did. We have a lot of wiggles dvds and this one is so cute!! He loves to dance and sing along with them. This DVD has a great mix of different songs. A few repeat songs from his other dvds but a lot of great new ones too!! He knows all the words and dance moves. I love any movie that he can learn from and this does the trick! :)
Just wish the wiggles came to the U.S. in concert!!!

I like Gwyneth Paltrow in this. I love to hear her sing. Huey Lewis is not the best actor on the block but seemed to get better as the movie progressed. I would recommend it as it was very entertaining. The end will really surprise you. When we watched the outtakes we saw scenes that would have made the movie make much more sense. Not sure why they didn't leave them in. When we watched them we were like, Wow, ok, now it makes sense why this happened and why a character acted a certain way.

Well done as a karaoke competition expose

Well done as a karaoke competition expose, this is not the worlds greatest movie but it is a lot of fun and you will especially like it if you enjoy good music and singing karaoke! I would like to shout out to Huey Lewis and Paul Giamatti they really make this movie work. In spite of a so-so plot the movie moves right along and makes its point about how vital karaoke can be to certain people! They end the viewer can also learn some life lessons along the way.

This is a fun movie, and Gwenneth Paltrow can SING!

Best scenes were Paltrow singing Betty Davis Eyes and the first scene where Huey Lewis wins a bet as best singer in a Karaoke contest. But this is not for kids.
