Duracell is on the box on the back where it shows the company address in Bethel, CT and "made in China" I had to get out my loup to read the warranty and I don't know what to make of it. It says that Duracell warrants its use to "professional end users". So what criteria meets "professional end users"?
Warranty is for 1 year from purchase date. Which seems a very short period for new batteries. It also says "User warranty does not apply to any Procell products purchased by retail users." So that leaves me and most of you out.
End result? I want to return the batteries.
Bad news? When i hit the return button I got this : This item isn't eligible for return
It is sold by Medical Products Depot. I would suggest you find another seller that sends what you paid for. I am out $9.44 plus tax., and not happy.

Received the batteries, installed them, and all was well after a required zone alarm/detector reset on the alarm panel. Not sure what makes the batteries so specific, but I spent zero time comparing the specs of these batteries to regular batteries. The cost of the batteries was slightly higher than store bought regular alkaline batteries.
Now, something has changed. They leak constantly- in the same devices, and newer devices (Tascam Recorder, Slave triggers, remotes)- and the longevity is terrible. In my offhand accounting, I'd say 1/3 less power than Procell batteries from 2019. I dunno what happened, but I'm looking for another Pro-level battery for critical stuff. I've moved to LiPo for not critical, but some devices don't like 1.2v.

Obviously, someone returned these and threw a couple of worn-out batteries in the box to make up weight. They had included a used copper top battery, and one Ingles brand battery. Someone needs to inspect these when they get returned! I’ve had these too long to make it an issue now, and have no complaint with the rest of the batteries… But this should not have happened.

Edit. I bought this box for a smoke alarm that specifies these type of batteries. I had 20 left to use, so I used them in a flashlight. Frankly, I don’t think they lasted any longer, or worked any better than cheap batteries.
