The story takes place “dirtside”, on the planet below the space station where book one took place. It’s a fast paced yarn with twists and turns and lots of action.
The characters we l armed about in book one are all back plus a new one who may or may not be a double agent.
It’s a good read. I highly recommend it. I’m looking forward to more of the series.
In this installment, our heroine is planetside, engaged in a plot of a galactic consequence. Non-stop action
but of the graphic novel type. The story and character and story seems more oriented towards teens
than adult readers. I won't be picking up the third in the series.
Well, just wouldn't you know that our gal gets caught up in a terrorist plot and that her crush, agent O'Neill, just happens to be investigating. Triana has a difficult time (and so does the reader) trying to figure out who is a terrorist and who is not. As mentioned several times in the series, Triana is a fan of old TV shows and I am sure it is no coincidence that the plot of this book reads like an episode of one of those shows.
I may try another book in the series, but I am not sure. It is certainly low on my list of books to read.
Another great read. She has been ordered to take a refresher course before she can resume her job. This brings her and her BFF back to college. Parties, studies and being a guinea pig are on the agenda. She just has a small task to do for her mother - check out the property on the planet. When they get there they are refused admittance. Who is the new caretaker? Why have the codes been changed. Can her knowledge of the estate and hacking skills get them in? Why is her crush chained in the kitchen? Terrorists, bombings, betrayal, kidnapping and finding out the truth about her origin are all ahead of her. Who close to the family is the mole? Are more than one person responsible for the mayhem? A great fast action plot that will leave you wondering what will happen next. Is the threat over or just starting?
