Let me preface this review by saying I gave it a five because it was a series that I faithfully watched when it aired in the 80's. I guess my ability to see how terrible the story line was must have been clouded by the flamboyant clothing and hair styles. While I realize times have changed, I have a hard time watching and listening to the dialogue between the actors, I still don't know how the women and men on the show remembered who they were sleeping with. Talk about unbelievable scenes of space ships, kidnappings, etc. I am not sorry I have watched all seven seasons and will until the entire series is over, but I guess "fantasy" was what this series was all about and they certainly delivered.

I remember not leaving my house on the evenings that Dynasty and Dallas were on the air. Watching the series has been wonderful. I yelled at Alexis for being the perfect b**** and at Krystle for letting her get away with it until pushed too far. It was the perfect soap opera. I never saw Season 7, 8 and 9 as we were stationed overseas in the Army during that time. The video and audio quality is excellent and I watch most of the shows on the iPad. The story line is tragically lacking in quality (no fault of Amazon) and I saw several favorite characters leaving in Season 8 (I finished watching yesterday). I will not be watching Season 9 as I am not paying $20 as an Amazon Prime client.

Getting to watch each Season in order without commercials is such a gift! Season 7 is good. There are some Seasons that are better than others, so far! This is my first time watching The Entire Series and I get to watch them all in order as I wish. I already bought the Season 9 DVD because that Streaming you have to buy. Such an iconic classic show so SOOOO MANY ways!

Loved it and was anxious for season 8, but when I got ready to watch it there was a $1.99 charge for each episode and there are 22 episodes. That's $44!!
Well, I'm not paying that! So, I am very disappointed that I can't see the final episode. They should tell you upfront that all seasons are free except for the final one. Kind of a dirty trick in my book.

S7 started off great, but mid=year took a yawner. Crystal ruins it with her weepy, zero charisma antics and Alexis is not used effectively once she gives up the Carrington Mansion. The best thing to happen this year was the good riddance of Amanda- useless character made worse by terrible acting and writing. Other useless characters, Ben's daughter and Micheal Culhane, who is left without a purpose once Amanda leaves but shoe-horned in with Ben's daughter.... Adam gets some good story time, but Steven, Sammy Jo, Alexis, Blake and Crystal all fiddle their thumbs with mid season fatigue and no-where stories. Ben started off good but is defanged as well. Season ends on a big deal of SO what?

I didn't want it to end!

Season 7 started very weak but half way through found its way with a dramatic turnaround. The episodes after Blake regained his memory and returned to Krystle were some of the best of the series. That is quite an accomplishment after seven years. Must be why we keep watching...

Watched for fun, to see how that era looked on TV. Understand it was a big deal back then, today looks like one of those Argentinian soaps old ladies watch midday. Crazy story line, and some rather horrible acting. Like there was a competition for the title of worst actor on TV.
