Some Like it Hot
We've all heard it before: "Don't mount your TV above a fireplace!" and "it's bad for your TV!" Oh, and our personal favorite - "it strains your neck!" But at the end of the day... you're going to do it anyway, right? Right. Sometimes, that's just how the cookie crumbles. The rest of your walls are already spoken for by your "vintage" Dave Matthews Band poster collection, and above the mantle is the only spot that's left. And that's ok. (Well, the TV placement. We'll save the chat about those posters for another day.) In fact, this mount is actually perfect for classic viewing setups centered around TV viewing, and especially great for above the fireplace - it tilts down up to 10 degrees for comfortable viewing! Begone, neck strain shamers.
Ommmm: Find Your Center
Suffering from off-center stud syndrome? Does the thought of mounting your TV anywhere but smack dab in the middle of your wall or above the mantle cause stress and sleep loss? Don't worry, friend. You're certainly not alone. Echogear's here for you, perfectionists, and that's why we designed this mount so that it can be slid up to left or right on its wall plate for perfect on-wall centering. So that you, too, can find your center again.
A-B-C, Easy as 1-2-3 (Humming Yet?)
What do a catchy tune and simple, straightforward installation instructions have in common? They make people happy! And at Echogear, that's what we're all about. This mount is really easy to install. In fact, you can have it up on your wall in just 3, simple steps that take even the most handy-challenged of us less than 20 minutes. (Looking at you, Josh Theintern.) Attach wall plate to wall. Attach brackets to TV. Hang TV. Don't believe us? Take a peek at the installation manual (downloadable on this page!) and see for yourself.
Will it Fit? Most Likely!
Sisterhood of the Traveling TV Mount? Something like that. Just in case you missed that stunningly mediocre Kid's Choice Award nominee, what we mean is that this mount will magically fit *almost* any flat panel TV weighing up to 125 lbs. And when we say magically, we mean we included so many screws - like, a LOT of screws, seriously - to make sure of it. Want to confirm the perfect fit? Look up your TV's VESA pattern. If it's one of the following, it's gonna' fit: 200x100, 200x200, 200x300, 200x400, 300x200, 300x300, 400x200, 400x300, 400x400, 600x200, 600x300, 600x400. Can't find your TV's VESA pattern? That's ok! Go to the Echogear website and check out the MountFinder Tool at the top of the page. Just enter your TV model number (look for a bunch of letters and numbers on a sticker on the back of your TV) for a list of compatible mounts. Boom!

I always cut tv mount weight ratings in half when I look at them
Brackets were missing several key weld spots that should of been welded in the corners
DON’T WING IT, Be Prepared, Read Directions
You will need a Drill, Phillips screwdriver, beam finder, pencil and leveler
*Easy to install (You don’t need to be Bob or Barbara Villa)
*“Rob Boss” calmly guides you though in the instillation video. Hilarious BTW!!
*can slide left and right
*sufficient tilt angle
Level the template on the wall before drilling
Buy you cable cover from Home Depot or something, its cheaper than on amazon and in smaller quantities.
One note on installation: I had a devil of a time getting the two set-screws tightened on the underside of the mounting bracket (the ones on the bottom of the rails that attach to the TV itself). Because I didn't want this smaller-size TV mounted way up high near the ceiling, it sits relatively low on the wall above the mantel...so it was very, very difficult to get access with a long screwdriver to tighten those screws. I highly recommend if you're mounting this, USE THE PROVIDED EXPANDER PIECES to bring the actual TV a wee bit farther out from the wall. It will make this final step much easier (unless you have tiny carny hands, which is fine, but I don't).

The instructions are really well written. Well scripted in proper English and funny too.
ECHO - it may be time to upgrade the screw sizes in your package to meet some of the new high volume sets being sold in 2017.
I mounted a TCL 65in 6 series and it worked fine
Cons: No way to fine tune the level, so frame installation has to be spot on.
came with mounting equipment for wood studs, but I live in a condo and it has metal studs.
The TV mount seems like it's well made for the price. Good instructions, easy mounting, and said what it will do.
TV hasn't fallen off the wall yet so I'd say it was a good purchase.
