This really talented cast brought to life this funny, relatable, cringe-worthy, heartwarming story of poor Sid Straw... such a great take on toxic company culture, social media savvy, family dynamics, college reunion anxiety, the legal profession, and so much more!
The screenplay is based on a novel I loved many years ago (“The Locklear Letters,” by Michael Kun) and does a great job of bringing the story forward!
Congratulations, Michael Kun! We’re looking forward to seeing many more of your novels headed to Hollywood and Broadway!!

I watched it before breakfast and have zero regrets. Tony Hale is incomparable in this awkcomedy. This movie rides that delightful line of cringey and sympathetic. A really masterful performance by one of the greatest with a great supporting cast.

This is an interesting story with a great ensemble cast. The main character Sid is a nice, well intentioned, and pretty naive guy that's incredibly socially awkward extrovert (band combo) who tries too hard at everything. You start laughing at how oblivious he is. That turns into funny if uncomfortable embarrassment for him. Eventually though everyone discovers more empathy and gets to a better place. It's funny but touching. Has a message but isn't preachy. Tells a character driven story with a surprising amount of depth for a full on comedy (this is not a dramedy movie that sucks you in with a funny trailer and then gets all tearjerker after the first few minutes).

An unexpectedly entertaining film that will make you laugh and feel good about people too.

Sid Straw is SO lovable and misunderstood. A MUST SEE for fans of this cast. Loved the story, loved the humor, loved everything about it! I hope more of Mike Kun’s books get produced. They are all hilarious! Eat Wheaties!

Loved the book (Locklear Letters by Michael Kun) when it first came out and am thrilled to say the movie was exceptional as well. Perfectly assembled cast brought their talents to this project and we are all rewarded with an often sad, but ultimately enjoyable ride. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.

This was a nice surprise! Man, I love seeing all the jackholes get their dues. Also, they got the ending right in this, except I wish he had brought a present for the baby haha.

This movie is a feel good movie. Many could relate to their first experiences on FACEBOOK . Others can relate to relationships in High School or University.
