The monitors I mounted were the Dell S2419HGF and the ViewSonic XG2402. Both are VESA 100x100, however the XG2402 has very shallow screws and would not allow me to mount it fully on the backplate of the dual monitor stand. Luckily, Eletab provided 4 sets of screws with this product that matched the thread size of the XG2402 perfectly.
The arms were a breeze to adjust and I was happy with the height available on the product. If you're a little taller and prefer a mount that is higher up, you may want to go with a different dual monitor stand. I found that I enjoyed the stand most when the heights were adjusted to nearly the maximum allowable (I'm 6'1).
A small nitpick: the cable management on the arms are a pretty neat thought, however, due to both my monitors have downward firing ports (HDMI, display port, power cord) the upper cable management route bent the cords in a way I was not comfortable with (see photos). I don't have too much of an issue with cables being invisible, so it wasn't a problem. But if you want your setup to OCD clean, you may have to consider alternative options. I think the cable management would work very well with backwards firing ports.
All in all I was very pleased with the stand. The price makes this a great entry level monitor stand for anyone looking to upgrade from stiff monitors stands.
Overall: Works as intended, i set it and don't really adjust it as much but it's nice having the option to do so. Normally would do a pros and cons, but it literally works as I expected and no cons so far.
Installation: Def recommend having someone help but super easy to do with step by step instructions. Note: DO NOT CUT THE TIE THAT HAS THE 2 ARMS TOGETHER WITHOUT HOLDING THEM cause they will pop - they included instructions not to do it, but its tempting to do.
My last monitor mounts were wall-mounted, but I wanted something that wouldn't damage my walls when I set up my workspace. This monitor stand works well for me.
Very little tension adjusting needed on the monitor tilt and the arm up/down and then I was done. The cable management is simple and nice, though with the two part "elbow" arms it does require extra long cables to fully "climb" the arm. I'm actually not using it because its at a standup location so its pretty far to the computer near the floor.
But all in all, for the cheapest dual gas arm monitor mount I would say it was an excellent purchase.
P.S. And yes there are a bunch of tiny little pieces of styrofoam flying around from pulling the arms out of the mount and they do drive you crazy, but not so much that its worth dinging the seller for it! There are not a gillion of them or anything - far less than the number of styrofoam peanuts you have to chase from boxes packed that way. And what do you want - for them to not package it safely and securely so that it gets damaged during shipping? I like that it was snugly and securely packed!
Some struggles: I have Acer monitors. It would be nice if it came with an adapter (or choice to purchase) to fit. I found an adapter through a different company and it actually was a bit of a witch to set up... But, alas, first world problems - sometimes you just have to be smarter than the adapter!
Potential cons: I have a sit stand desk converter. These arms were a quite a bit heavier than I anticipated. Fortunately my desktop converter is pretty sturdy, but I do have to be careful when I release the handles to lower it. I am planning on upgrading to a full sit/stand desk when my money tree replenishes itself - HA! Jokes, I have a farm, there is no replenishing. But all jokes aside, once I upgrade to a full sit/stand desk, I do not foresee this to be an issue.
ETA: I think I got what I paid for. I was hoping for smooth movement but these arms require an amount of effort that doesn't allow for it. If I lessen the tension, then the arms go floppy or my monitors droop down. It does the job and I think for the money it is fine... but at some point I will need to upgrade.
