Slightly shorter, yes, but for good reason!

As with her other books, this one is incredibly well written and leaves you wanting to read more. Sadly the author died at the time this book was being completed so for those wanting a longer book or more books, I understand completely but there is good reason. Also this book is only slightly shorter. My only gripe is the number of typos from the publisher. It's very distracting for me personally. Probably a few every chapter. The publisher should take care to reprint these books without the typos (and they are legit typos, which seem to maybe be from the book originally being handwritten and then transferred to computer possibly?). Since these were written 20 yrs before the advent of personal computers in many a home it is possible... or maybe there were errors if they were typed by the author but then why not edit them? Either way, it's a bummer to see so many in such an otherwise glorious book.
Highly recommend the whole series and her other book A Papa Like Everyone Else. I read them out loud to my daughter and she liked them so much we bought the whole series and that separate book. All 5 stars in our opinion.
