This is not the actual Jane Austen novel Emma; this is some godawful dramatization/adaptation written by someone arrogant enough to believe her/his work to be an improvement on Austen’s masterpiece: very evidently not the case.

Well done, abridged performance, slightly distracting sounds

I love this story of a slightly snobbish, well-off young woman constantly involved in matchmaking and confusing others' intentions, until she finally learns to understand her own feelings and stop sticking her nose into other people's affairs!
This version is an abridged, cast performance style, more focused on dialogue, but well done. Background sounds were distracting at first, but I got used to them. I know the story well enough that I didn't mind listening to this version and didn't feel I was missing too much, if anything.
