I was so excited for this to come in. I used it the first time and was in love. The next day I went to use it and while heating it up on medium high heat for two minutes the ceramic exploded off a couple of sections.

Great product, my first cast iron enamel piece!

So far so good! The product arrived well packed, no scratches or dents. Before I used it, I rinsed with warm water and mild soap. I used this for the first time the other night to make braised short ribs! The skillet was wonderful, and best of all easy to clean. I used a soft sponge and warm water to wipe out the stains afterwards the pan looked like new again. Make sure you have 2 good oven mitts for each handle to avoid getting burnt. I look forward to many more meals cooked in this, and it looks great setting on my stove top for decoration as well.
