This is a cute story telling how Patter Peacock and Flap came to leave with the other main cast Enchantimals, and depicts their varied interests and enchantments. Pacing is a little slow, but the structure is somewhat similar to the pilot episode for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic in how it establishes the characters and the main conflict and then rushes to resolve them.

I'd recommend starting with this before watching the series, but there's nothing here that is necessary to understand the series.

Probably my own fault but this DVD is for European countries. I was able to watch on the computer with my child.
