About the author

Christopher Artinian was born and raised in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Wanting to escape life in a big city and concentrate more on working to live than living to work, he moved to the Outer Hebrides in the north-west of Scotland in 2004 and has lived there ever since with his wife and dogs.
He released his debut novel, Safe Haven: Rise of the Rams, in February 2017. This was the first instalment in a post-apocalyptic zombie series. There are currently twenty-two books available in the Safe Haven universe, including the best-selling and award-winning sister series, The End of Everything.
Also available from Artinian, is the fast-paced, best-selling survival horror trilogy, “Relentless”, and the new post-apocalyptic/dystopian series, "The Burning Tree".
In October 2017, he won the prestigious Zombie Book of the Month Award for Rise of the RAMs. In December 2017 he was also bestowed with the "Best New Author" award by the Reanimated Writers group. In addition, Safe Haven won the "Best Series" award in the popular GMZ poll. The End of Everything: Book 1 also won the Zombie Book of the Month title in May 2019.

When the sisters make up their minds to do something, they do it, no matter how far-fetched it is. You know that they'll succeed and that the action will be well crafted and creative.
I recommend the whole series and would advise zompoc fans to get and read all the books in order. I have enjoyed all the books and think others will as well.
Im on my way to reading book 9, and then I’m ready to read the Safe Haven series, as well as the prequels. So far, I’ve heard mentions of Mike and Lucy, so I anticipate reading about their stories.
Terrific series. Im dying for more.
Its an enjoyable read, but I wish it was a little longer.
The action is always thrilling but I felt this book fell a little short on the character development and story building.
It was more about constant action sequences than story.
Still a really good read, but not as engaging as the other books.

This latest episode of the series beautifully portrays how the enforced separation has given each the time and space to grow and mature and form other relationships with those around them. Running throughout the story is the .amazing, reinforced strong bond the sisters have. Gone are the petty squabbles and bickering, replaced by general banter and mickey taking. The girls have a newfound respect for each other and their talents which perfectly complement each other.
If you like strong, kickass, badass women then this is the book for you. Chris portrays characters that hit the ground running, hook you in instantly and make you care so much about what happens to them.
Christopher Artinian is one of the finest authors I've read. I literally fell across his work accidentally and what a great day for me that was. I cannot recommend his books highly enough and look forward to reading many more. As long as he writes them, I'll be firs in t h e queue to read themlll
