Cons: -Quick release plate is plastic and not arca-swiss
Great affordable and travel friendly video tripod (can also be used for photography). Perfect for beginners or someone who is not wanting to spend a ton on a tripod.
This tripod sucks... Nothing tightens all the way and my camera tilts left and right because the knobs are made of the cheapest plastic and nothing will lock it into place. It also does not have a smooth panning from left to right either. It keeps getting stuck even after I used some oil on it... Save your money and buy something better
It won’t tighten at the very top! Keeps slamming my camera down. It’s so frustrating. I’m a new mom and got too busy to go request a refund and missed the window. I just wish people were more honest and delivered solid product.
I've bought a number of tripods in this price range during the last few years since I'm pretty tough on them with several excursions into the woods each week for youtube videos. This one did not have a very sturdy feel to it, and indeed one of the legs popped off after using it a couple of times. I tried to pop it back in and was unsuccessful for a few days until I finally succeeded. However, that doesn't give me confidence of durability in the future. I do like the little handle to raise and lower the height of the tripod head, a feature than many tripods in this price range don't have.
Best of the worst. Really not worth the money. Flimsy plastic parts completely unsuitable for photography. Absolutely not recommended for holding cameras worth over a few hundred dollars. All that said, it works fine for holding my inexpensive spotting scope.
When I read the reviews, this looked like a great product. Upon arrival, all looked OK, until I went for a photo shoot with my 35mm DSLR attached to the Quick Release plate. As I locked in the camera, I noticed it wobbled a bit. When I touched the camera, IT FELL TO THE FLOOR! As it turns out, the screw holding the lock lever in place unscrews each time you pull it, until the SCREW FALLS OUT! There is no way to fix this, except for taping the screw down, but the locking mechanism still does not feel secure. This is a design flaw in the mechanism. It is very cheap, but again, you get what you pay for.
