I enjoyed the parts of the book where it goes deep into the physiology of energy, as well as how to create new habits to take on challenges you may face in life. Also, don't rely too much on coffee and caffeine! Definitely a must read for everyone.
What I personally found most valuable was the section on how to beat procrastination, something that I’ve fought within myself for many years. Also really helpful, Have More Energy goes into the importance of exercise, nutrition, and sleep, specifically how to make changes to get a better night’s rest.
Not only does this book delve into the physical reasons for energy depletion, it also goes into great detail about the emotional reasons, especially the specific ways we think and what we can do about it, plus how to deal with people who bring us down. Overall, a highly useful resource with tons of valuable advice and information!
For example, he explains how your energy levels are heavily affected by your blood sugar levels (this explains why desserts sometimes make me so tired).
Other subjects are cognitive distortions, and the quality of your sleep. Great!
