Gloom and doom pervades throughout the story where it used to be exciting and upbeat. In short it’s probably time to conclude this series with the inevitable saving of the universe, all bad guys conquered and everybody lives happily ever after.
The series is starting to suffer from the too strong main character and trying to create a worthy bad guy. Weapons and technology have become to powerful for a a reasonable plot.

I will not comment on the storyline as it would by neccessity have to include spoilers, but suffice it to say it will pull at the emotions in places.
Keep up the good work Ryk.
