I know I'm not the only Edwards' fan that squeals when our greedy fingers get a hold of a new TBGTN! Not only does Grier and Linus have their hands full of mystery baby belly but the Grande Dame is missing, Lethe continues to steal Grier's snacks, pregnancy hormones are Off The Chart legit, Woolly's resident ghost boy has perfected pouting, Corbin's hiding something HUGE (okay, everyone is hiding something), Neely and Cruz are still the couple-goal standard, and the newlyweds discover vampire doctors are d!@ks. Just another undead day in Georgia🍑
***Note - In all seriousness... I would read absolutely ANYTHING this author puts out! Well, maybe not her grocery lists... I mean, those surely aren't great... okay, I would, but I draw the line at Wal-Mart lists. I DO have standards (👀 okay... I would read that too dang it!).
Whiskey & Wit Book Reviews
We find out very little about Grier being a potentate apart from her not even bothering to gather a team. The childs powers seems like it was expected to be a cool moment but turned out to be a yawn. I loved the series before but this book wasn’t worth reading.
I enjoyed reading Linus' POV as the bonds of friendship grew stronger, his self-worth increasing.
Even with the seriousness of the crime that had to be solved, Grier and Lethe killed me. Love them! And the baby! No spoilers, but for this part alone, it's a must read for the sheer jaw-dropping pleasure and excitement.
I can't wait for the next!
Oh, there's a sneak peek of her new series at the end. I'm intrigued!
- the story obviously does not end here as we have loose ends. I thought these were some epilogues. Why not just write a whole book instead of several novellas?
- The eating... really? Grier and Lethe eat and stuff themselves more and more. I thought it was getting a bit much.
- Love Linus and his obvious love for Grier.

I'm really hoping there will be more in this serise as I really want to find out what happens including the set up with new mysteries at the end.
I did like the description of the toll pregnancies take
I enjoyed the viewpoints from Linus, and his thoughts on his relationship with his mother. Love the besties relationship between Grier and Lethe, and the one that has developed between Hood and Linus.
Highly recommend this entire series!
