Angela was just so cute! She's a talker alright. Which I loved because I'm a talker too; so, I relate. Eric's strong, silent but truly listens, nature compliments her, because the girl's got alot to say! I loved it how she didn't want to come between him & his family. And how she slyly mentioned not stepping on any toes Again when she brought those ginger cookies! She was respectful & strong!
Tiffany just knows how to weave a story! So stop reading the reviews & read the book!
I just love the love between Angela and Eric. One very seldom reads a book with the male main interest exercising self control. I loved him for that. Angela was the one pushing her love interest on Eric. She was totally enthralled by him and succumbed to his wooing. Eric knew early on that she was the one he wanted as his wife.
This was a sweet love story with two people adjusting their lives to make room for each other in their busy schedule and to deal with any challenges thrown their way. This was a very enjoyable read.
There are some editing errors but I got so wrapped up in the lives of Eric, Angela and the members of Rescue Four I couldn't have cared less.
The Love story develops over time and it's so satisfying as the characters take their time to develop something real & lasting. All bases are covered from courage to grief, family, friendship, suspense and smoldering romance which isn't tacky and overdone.
What did Aretha say? "Rescue me...."😍
And honestly their views made it clear that a female firefighter would never be allowed between their ranks because it's too "manly" a career choice. I found myself rolling my eyes hard at some of his views. Very disappointing that a woman wrote those in.
