This book was very helpful to me. The authors use prior essays, present an assessment/summary, then break down the sample answers published by the bar into a chart, bolding what the authors think the graders are looking for (versus what was extra by the applicant). I found this really helpful for doing practice essays and then "grading" them. The outlines are well organized and I used them to organize topics and study after I took barbri's more substantial lectures. I do better with context and explanation than just memorization of rules, so I don't think I could have studied with these outlines alone. For purposes of cramming, I tended to like the organization of these outlines better than Barbri's.
