A very important note, the glue compound is activated by pressure. the instructions even say to use a metal roller with downward force to apply the tape. You need to apply an extreme amount of pressure on the entire surface of the tape, or it won't hold.
Another helpful review from your friendly neighborhood motorcycle man.
12/18/17: Approximately 37 degrees outside during installation dropping to 20 at night. Wiped roof/seam with rubbing alcohol then sprayed clean with EternaBond EC-1 before applying a layer of Eternabond tape to the suspected seam that was leaking. Very easy to install, thick and workable but also very sticky adhesive. After using this for an 8ft seam and the fridge vent, I wish I had purchased the longer roll. 50ft was enough to do my repair and learn about the quality of the material but after using it I realized how great this stuff was and plan to tape over the seams for the sun roof and vents this spring. Will update in the future with more details.
This stuff is sticky!! Be very careful with application. I don't know if you can move it once it's down. Be aware, too, that some of the adhesive does leak out the sides and can get a little messy.
Every piece of tape we used on the roof and the body of the pop up months ago is still holding strong.
Would definitely recommend this as a quick fix and maybe even a permanent one.
