I was so excited to ring out Theo who was the brother of the hero in Its All Greek to Me, was getting his own story. I was not disappointed. Theo after finding out he has a son of 10 months old meets Keira right when he gets his son. Theo needs help immediately and Keira does help him. Once he meets Keira Theo looks for ways to keep her in his life. Keira is running from her past and runs right into her future with Theo. Theo doesn’t care about the danger in Keira’s life and is determined to have her stay in his life. The attraction is immediate and the romance makes sense even though it is quick. They are both funny characters withpasts to overcome and they have loving nature’s. It was fun to see Harry and Yacky again as well. It was a fun well written story. It is a wonderful book that leaves you smiling.

I adore this author. She's written some of my favorite books and is the first one I suggest when someone is looking for something new to read.

That said, this was hard to get through. It feels like it skipped a few levels of review. There's one scene when they talk about giving the baby a bottle as if it's the first time but a few pages before it says they just gave him one.

Also the premise feels a bit flawed. Someone who spent 5 years in an abusive relationship in unlikely to decide they trust someone and jump into bed with them in a few hours.

I just didn't care for this book and probably wouldn't read it again. I could only recommend it because the third book in the series is actually pretty good and these two characters are referenced there.

I adored this book... but if you hadn't read It's All Greek to Me, you might experience a bit of whiplash with how fast things seem to happen in the characters relationship - but if you HAD read It's All Greek to Me (seriously, go read it!), everything makes perfect sense! I fell in love with the Pappamoumou brothers in the first book, and the love affair continued. It has the trademark Katie humor, and is an absolute treat! I do like that there was more of a subplot this time around - and hopefully the series will continue! There's a sister... I'm sure the kids will grow up... :D

Katie is one of my authors that I pre-order or 1 click everything! The first book of this duo is "It's All Greek to Me", it is Iakovos and Harry's story though you meet Theo in it. You don't have to read it first but if you don't you basically find out the ending/details in this book. Theo finally gets his HEA though its an interesting and bumpy ride to it. Kiera is a match for Theo and despite her scars, she gets the man she needs and deserves. If only life really worked that way!
