It is an awesome little book. It is a 'Devotional,' in that it has suggested dates for the readings and meditations to be done, except for Feb. 29 in leap year is left out. If you have, "The Divine Romance," it has a similar format to this book. A Scripture verse, a reflection/meditation and a short prayer on a single side of a page.
I have several of these books, and I read a page of one in the morning, and another at midday, and another in the evening. That is one page from each of the 3 books daily.
I don't let the limitations bother me, for I feel that if God wants me to miss a day, week, month, for whatever reason, I can always pick up again when things settle down.
They are the size of a compact New Testament/Bible, and easily fit into a ladies handbag, or a gentleman's suit coat pocket.
It would be nice if there was either a 'Table of Contents' or an 'Index,' so that you could find a specific verse again without using book markers that fall out, or 'Post It" flags that look tacky. Checking a table of contents/index, just seems so much simpler...
But other than the lack of the above, it is a beautifully constructed little book. It has a synthetic flex 'leather' cover, but don't try to bend it too much, for the creases would remain for a period of time.
I'd say, if you are a fan of Devotional books, this would be an awesome to your library.
