From the manufacturer
Yes, The Titan has lots of large compartments, but that’s not what makes it so innovative. We’ve designed intuitive spaces for smart organization, buckles and straps positioned for on-the-fly adjustments; and pockets, pouches and slots for fingertip access. The extra large laptop compartment is roomy enough for the most behemoth 18.4-inch laptop. In the main storage area, you’ll find large, divided spaces which allow you to keep chargers and power supplies separate from fragile files and documents. The felt-lined tablet pocket safely secures your iPad or Kindle, while the front compartment allows you to store business cards, pens, calculators or peripherals. And the soft, scratch free, lined portable media player pocket with cable outlet is positioned right at shoulder level to give you enough length in your cord for comfortable, slack free use.
- Fits laptops up to 18.4-Inch
- Laptop compartment: 20.5 x 13 x 2 in
- External dimensions: 21.3 x 15 x 8.3 in
- Capacity: 40 L
- Bag weight: 4.3 lbs
Airport security can be a big hassle, so we designed the Titan with our hassle-free 180 degree fold-out design. The Checkpoint Friendly laptop compartment allows you to breeze through airport security without removing your device from its compartment. Simply open the Titan up 180 degrees, lay it flat, and your bag will quickly pass through the scanner. Should you need to remove your laptop, you can take it out and replace it without rummaging through your backpack or removing other contents. Take the Titan on the plane with you. It’s designed to fit in the cabin above and in most cases, under the seat. It’s that friendly.
When your backpack is fully loaded it can get heavy, so we engineered a 5-point balance strap system to ergonomically distribute the weight and reduce muscle strain. With pillow-soft straps adjustable at the shoulders, 2 quick-slide straps at the bottom and one across the chest; you have total control over weight distribution. This allows you balanced comfort, even when your backpack is full. The Titan’s ergonomically designed carry system also boasts a padded back panel, mesh padding and deep airflow channels to provide maximum air circulation for breathability. The Titan: cool comfort, total control.
Security and protection
Your equipment is valuable, so we added multiple layers of padded protection, a security strap to keep your device in place, and super soft felt that ensures your laptop is secure and safe – even when traveling. The interior of the tablet pocket is also felt-lined and properly sized for an iPad, Kindle or other tablet to minimize damage caused by slipping and sliding. The Titan also comes with a water-resistant weather cover to protect your gear from the elements. The large metal zippers come with lock holes to keep your contents safe. Don’t worry, you’re covered.
You don’t want your power brick to get in the way or become a tangled mess. That’s why we designed the Accessories Pouch to separate your mouse, chargers, power supplies and cables from your more sensitive items.
All EVERKI interiors are stylish, high-contrast orange because we know how frustrating it is to mistakenly leave a compartment unzipped, and how difficult it is to organize against a black background. Savvy and Stylish.
Large zippers and metal pulls
Have you ever broken a zipper on your favorite bag? We have. That’s why we designed the Titan using heavy duty metal zippers with extra large pulls. So your favorite backpack can remain your favorite backpack.
Media player outlet
Cables tangled around your backpack straps? No more. The Titan comes equipped with a media-player compartment at shoulder level – and it’s designed so you can keep your cables at just the perfect length.

This bag is extremely well built, which is why I am giving it 5 stars.
It is HUGE and can easily fit everything including laptops and gaming consoles.
That being said, I did end up exchanging it for the Everki Atlas as it was far too big for what I needed.
I needed a bag that would be ideal for college classes.
The Titan is great if you carry your gaming console with you or if you are taking a cross country trip and can only have 1 bag.
But good luck fitting it under your desk at school.
It is definitely a great quality bag, but be aware that this bag might be too big for what you need.
I have attached a photo comparing it to my old Swiss Army bag and the Atlas.
From Left to Right: Swiss Army Bag, Everki Atlas, Everki Titan.
- Enormous size, not even comparable to the Targus and Swiss Gear options. This could hold a 19" laptop easily, whereas my Swiss Gear Blue Ibex's zipper was strained trying to hold either of my 17" ASUS ROG / Sager laptops.
- Holds a huge Sager desktop replacement / gaming beast, HP Spectre x360, the biggest battery RAVpower makes (plus all the adapters), two 330-watt Clevo PSUs, the HP's PSU, full sized gaming mouse, metal mouse pad, external hard drives, baggies of every kind of cable and adapter, flashlight, a full toiletries bag, and fistfuls of odds and ends packed into more baggies - with room to spare if I wanted to cram in more stuff and didn't care about blocked access to things in lower pockets. Watch the video to see how much stuff you can cram into this monster.
- Includes rain-resistant cover and a solid-feeling toiletries bag.
- Tons of pockets of all shapes and sizes.
- Velour-like main compartments for laptops/tablets.
- Surprisingly lighter than the Swiss Gear, though this seems to come at the cost of thinner material.
- Arrived with minor loose threads / frayed edges on some pockets.
- No pockets on the straps, unlike the Swiss Gear I had been using.
- Doesn't have the thick, reinforced feel of my Swiss Gear (the Swiss Gear had more reinforced stitching, rubberized bottom, metal strap, and overall thicker material).
- Overall feels like it might fray or otherwise sustain damage over time more easily than the Swiss Gear it's replacing.
- Overall feels like it doesn't protect the cargo quite as well as the more hefty Swiss Gear.
- It's enormous, about the size of a human torso, so you need to be aware of what is behind you (also you look kind of goofy wearing this huge backpack, at least if you are 5'6" and 150 lbs).
- There isn't a lot of reinforcement to make the compartments maintain their shape. This means that stuffed upper-level pockets can block access to lower-level pockets. Some compartments can get warped when the compartments/pockets on the other side of the dividers are stuffed, preventing you from using all the pockets/compartments. This mostly affects smaller pockets.
- Not as many convenient side pockets as the Swiss Gear, and no "water bottle" or "phone" holders.
While I had serious doubts about the quality of this backpack at first, it has replaced my Sager-carrying Swiss Gear Blue Ibex, as well as the 15" laptop bag I was using to carry my lighter HP Spectre. It doesn't maintain its shape as well as the Swiss Gear, but it's the only laptop bag that can hold all this stuff while still being a carry-on that's TSA-friendly and technically fits under an airplane seat.
This is not a backpack for normal people with average needs, carrying one notebook. This makes the Swiss Gear "lol are you going camping later" Blue Ibex look normal. However, if you're the kind of person who needs to carry a gaming notebook, a work laptop, a tablet, and all the supporting accessories with you, this is a single-backpack solution. If you are a DJ/VJ or someone who needs to carry both a monster laptop and a bunch of control surfaces, this would be a good choice. If your needs are more reasonable, the Swiss Gear Blue Ibex costs less and has superior build quality / ease of access. If you need something unusual, the Titan is for you.
EDIT: I've had this backpack for about a year now, and I am upgrading it to a 5/5. It's been with me on many road trips and cross-country flights, being stuffed into overhead bins and under seats, but it has held up so well it looks like new. I ran into another gentleman at the airport who had this same backpack, though much more distressed than mine. He let me know that he has been travelling with his Titan for about 3 years, and while it looked like it had been dragged through a firefight in a swamp that was on fire, it didn't appear to have any actual structural issues or lost functionality. I have hung this backpack, filled to its limit with multiple laptops and changes of clothes that in total weighed about 40 lbs, on the airport restroom coat hangers more than once, and it doesn't seem to have been stressed in the least. It doesn't have the reinforced body of the Ibex, and it doesn't hold its shape like the Ibex (base isn't a molded rubber/pleather affair like the Ibex), but the quality is much better than the thin plastic shell implies.
Over 3 years later, this backpack has held up well. The stitching is solid, and nothing has broken in any way. The "frays" were just cosmetic imperfections. This backpack has survived flights on little pond-skippers with tiny luggage compartments that scrape everything up, and has been to France, the Netherlands, Czechia, and all over the USA. Zero regrets about this purchase. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
Reasons why I need organization/capacity/durability:
1. I am a engineer
2. I travel internationally - racked up 100K+ miles so far and its only March
3. I love gadgets and carry more than the Woz (Steve Wozniak)
4. I need to be able to find things without much effort
5. I need a bag to last to the abuse of international travel - as well as day to day
Reasons why I chose this bag:
1. Tons of research lead me to Everki as a company
2. I wanted the 17" Checkpoint friendly bag - but didn't want to spend $295 as my quest has become more expensive than its worth probably
3. It has a life time warranty
4. It has an unbelievable amount of pockets - I stopped counting after 20 (what I consider) pockets
5. The build quality is second to none - you get high quality but I guess that is why Everki products cost so much
6. It had all the International travel requirements I needed
7. It had a non black interior - makes it super easy to find stuff even when on a plane
8. It comes with its own rain coat - sounds stupid but you would be surprised how many times I wish I had this feature
9. THIS THING HOLDS A TON of stuff
10. It was only $168
1. See above
2. What I can carry in this: Macbook Air, Dell Latitude 15inch, Bose Quiet 15's with case, 4 cell phones (yeah I know its a ton but I have the need for that many) Ipad, Nook, Sunglasses with case (oakley Pit Bosses with case to give you idea of how big) Book I am reading, all the power cords needed for all my devices, two 2 TB hard drives, all my travel documents, my medicine I have to take on a daily basis, Ipod, Pens, Stylus, etc...all of these things are stored nicely in their own areas and are very accessible at all times.
3. Check point friendly
1. I can carry too much stuff - I stuffed even more into this bag since I found out it can carry more with ease.
2. Checkpoint friendly area needs to be padded like the the 17" checkpoint friendly bag this one compares to from EVERKI
3. I am jetlagged as hell and writing this so my grammar and spelling is probably horrific...
Buy this bag or anything from EVERKI you wont be disappointed - now, how to sell all of the other bags I don't need...hmmm
Top international reviews
Upon mentioning it on my first review, Everki customer care service immediately asked me to describe a problem. Later they offered to replace item free of charge.
This was quite positive surprise for me, and it was really unexpected to have such a great service.
I must give all respect to Everki for this.
I use this backpack every day, lot of travelling and opening/closing (probably 5-10 times a day).
From functionality point of view this backpack is excellent. Lot of space, good zippers, lot of small pockets.
But only thing I found to be a flaw is external material quality.
It is very light and soft (maybe not a flaw for somebody), but for me it is not so.
It looks it can be easily damaged or torn. For my use with lot of travel in picture it can happen easily.
This is something Everki should think about if they ever decide to make redesign.
Finally I can say it is very good backpack, but since it is not matching 100% to my expectations, I give it 4 stars.
I have a Tarqus city bag that is 10 years old. It's amazing how much I can get into it. Especially when away for two or three days. However I wanted to get a new one that was slightly bigger.
In the end I did select this bag. Excellent decision.
In the main compartment, there is a divider but that can and happily sits at the back of the compartment allowing a load of space. I got three pairs of rolled up jeans in the bottom to the level of the opening zip end. Easily on top of that I got seven t shirts. I would never take this much, so as far as I am concerned this is a very roomy bag.
The bag itself is sheer quality. I can't count the number of times I picked it up in the first week just to open each and every pocket, (yes I know I should get out more but it's the old problem; finding a doctor who will sign the release papers). The pockets are all well thought out and seem to be very roburst. The two side pockets I feel could have been slightly bigger to take larger bottles but that's such a small moan it does not knock ever half a star off the rating.
So if you want a laptop bag that will do for a weekend or even longer then I think you will be hard pressed to find one that does it better then this. The divided in the main compartment doesn't prevent the entire compartment from being used as some have claimed, it simply pushes back against the interior wall without using any space up. Everything about this bag is sheer luxury and class. Even the black colour, (I didn't want black), is understated as if to say, 'this is class, who needs to shout it out with bright colours?'
I've used this thing all over the place and not a single rip or tear, just a little fraying here and there over the last 2 years. There's many compartments to fit everything in and it is a BIG bag. I have well over 10KG in this page bag and the straps have no sign of damage. The straps are extremely padded and comfortable, even with the heavy weight.
If you really fill the bag up, there's some straps that you can clip around the front that hold it all in place. The bag expands very well too. I've got so much crap in bag but still have room for more.
I also saw that someone had made claim on the lifetime warranty and Everki didn't flinch to replace the bag. That was my deciding factor to purchase this bag.
You get a waterproof pouch that just fits over the bag, it's elasticated too. You don't need it for light rain but if it's pouring down like here in the UK, it's best to throw it on, it takes 2 seconds.
The only thing I would have liked to see is being able to attach a lock the the zips, just to protect your things if you are travelling. Since the bag is so padded, you probably wouldn't feel someone opening it behind you.
The bag is expensive compared to many others but this is one purchase I do not regret. Best bag I've had by far. If you've got expensive equipment, don't hesitate to get this bag, as this will protect it all. The laptop compartment is also a soft fabric, so it won't get scratched, as is another compartment in the middle pocket that can be used for large tablets.
This was the first expensive laptop I bought, in-fact it's one of the first things I bought off Amazon. If you got any questions or want pictures, let me know.
If Everki are reading this, just add a little more padding on the inside, at the bottom of the bag. People buying this bag are likely gamers and hold heavy equipment.
I won't be replacing this bag until it breaks. These bags are great, seriously.
Quality: The outside shell is strong and will not tear easily. The insides are slightly more delicate - with minimal use the inside area in the laptop section has frayed a little bit. Its not a big deal, but for this price, I would have thought this should not happen so soon.
Use: Lots of nooks and crannies - MANY pockets erveyrwhere - it becomes a bit fiddly and i often find it difficult to access certain pockets when the bag is full, because inner fillings press awkwardsly onto outer pockets. I have successfully carried a 5kg bag of oats in the laptop section and it was comfy and manageable!
Cons: There is a cardboard backing inside the back area which makes a 'board' noise when the bag isnt full. This makes it sound and feel cheap and flimsy, though it is not. Really annoying.
Overall: 6.5/10 - I would not buy this unless I REALLY needed a bag this size. Its not as strong as I would have hoped, and its unusually large for a laptop bag.
EDIT (24 Jan 2013): So I just wanted to increase the level of praise for this bag and the warranty. The bag is super strong - I did mention that. I also mentioned the little frayed bit inside... and this got worse over time. So I got in touch with the seller, and sent some photos. They simply sent me a new bag, no issues with admin, no paper work - just one email with photos! That's some legendary customer service - and it appears that this Lifetime Warranty is totally genuine and excellent.
I think I will only buy Everki - because its like buying a Briggs and Riley suitcase - buy one, lifetime warranty - no need to ever buy a new one again! Wow. Buy it.
New Overall: 8.5/10. Which means 5 stars to me!
Been using it continuously for over a year at this point. Carried my old 15" Dell Inspiron 7537 and it's charge just fine, and handles my very fat 17" Clevo P870KM1-G and it's two 330W power bricks along with multiple wallets filled with documents (mostly A4 sized, one slightly bigger), sometimes a controller, a couple of portable hard drives, a notebook, a tablet, a phone, multiple chargers, and a lot more and is great. Has so many pouches and lets you organise things in so many ways.
It's also survived heavy rainfall, temperatures below 0 degrees all the way to over 40 degrees. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a high quality bag that will last you for years for travelling, hiking, heavy laptops, and more. The bag is a bit hefty on its own, but that's because of the extensive padding both inside and outside the bag.
I have now had this bag for over a year. It has been used to carry over 10kg of kit most days during that time. This includes a lot of walking to and from work etc.
It is still in almost perfect condition and is just as comfortable as it was when I got it. The build quality is superb.
This bag is great at what it was designed for... carrying equipment. It has lots of pockets for cables and peripherals. It's not as good at carrying clothes etc, so wouldn't be ideal if you wanted a weekend bag that also takes a 19" laptop.
If I had to make one suggestion (Just in case the designers are reading this), it would be to have a waist band, possibly removable. This would help to spread the weight between hips and shoulders. This is something I've seen on large rucksacks and although this isn't as big as they are, it's used to carry at least as much weight.
My Alienware m18x fits perfect in the pocket.
At first I was afraid that the edges of the laptop would stick out and pinch the bag, but after contacting Everki they assured me such a thing would not happen.
I have taken the liberty of putting up some pictures so that anyone who is interested in the Everki Titan for a Alienware 18.4 or any other large laptop can see that there is plenty of space!
I find it better to slip in the Alienware m18x with the rubber fit facing the front of the bag. This way, it slips in and out much easier.
Plenty of space for gadgets and more.
I do a lot of travelling and carrying the bag around with all my stuff inside does weigh a bit, but the 5 point system makes it comfortable on my back.
The top handle also comes in handy when moving the bag around.
The material seems to be a very good quality. The zippers are extra heavy duty and so are all the seems.
A lot of little nooks and crannies that are great when organizing things inside the bag. (Avoiding having everything roll around inside the bag and making searching for something very complicated.)
Shipping was quick and painless:)
It is a pricey bag, but well worth it considering the built quality, space, protecting and comfort!
I have owned this item for three years, it will take (just) a MSI GT80S 6QE Titan laptop - which is huge. This bag is Tardis like and can take a lot of packing. It is very well laid out, excellent quality while being very unassuming in looks (Its is still a very good solid looking bag - but not an "in your face" fashion item).
Customer service / warranty
After 3 years of use (I travel for my work a lot) the buckle on the front pouch broke, after a couple of emails and a photo or two, I was sent a replacement. They even took into account that I would be unable to claim my replacement for months due to my work.
In short - it HAS a lifetime guarantee with excellent polite customer service people. And for that alone it is worth every penny.
I genuinely love this, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beast of a bag.
Big, chunky zips look like they will last a long time, loads of pockets for all your stuff, and it swallows a 17" laptop and 15" tablet no problem.
Very comfortable to carry with wide and well padded shoulder straps.
I've had a few different brands of this type of bag, and I can honestly say this is the best I've tried so far.
My Dell is quite a lump, especially with all the added peripherals but this backpack just takes it all and some!
With so many pockets its easy to keep organised and even when I'm carrying over 8kg of kit with me it still feels comfortable on my back.
Everki stand by their lifetime guarantee too. After 5 years of ownership, 1000's miles and flights with so much kit inside, I had a issue with the zipper starting to come away at the stitching. I got in touch with Everki via their website, and after sending a couple of photos of the wear and tear they sent me out a brand new Titan free of charge and super quick. Incredible service really!
Don't hesitate to buy one if you carry a lot of kit, a large laptop and rack up the miles. Its totally worth the price.
