An Indie Genius, Alexander Poe
Verified purchase
This film both made me smile and think. Kristen Connelly, Jennifer Carpenter and Alexander Poe are all excellent in this film and have such a presence - and the script is really seems to create room for the actors as well as the story line on the screen. Poe's directorial debut in feature film tells us that there are great things ahead for this guy. All we can do is sit back and wait for his next project.

If you expect big action sequences, dramatic overtures or extreme gestures - this is not your film. HOWEVER, that's exactly why you'll fall in love with it, if you love the indie genre and all that it can bring us.

This is definitely one of my favourite films that I will be watching again-and-again... and I encourage every other indie-fan to give it a chance too.

An Endearing Comedy and Excellent Feature Debut

An endearing comedy. Excellent feature debut from a uniquely talented actor/writer/director (Poe) and excellent performances from the supporting cast. Jennifer Carpenter is obviously a highlight.

Excellent film with realistic outcomes

Alexander Poe wrote and directed a charming, funny, realistic look at the lives of single twenty-something's living in New York. Poe also manages to show us a side of New York most non-natives don't get see. Watch it!!!

This was very well written. Definetly not your traditional love story. I love the fact that the end was not predictable.

I loved this movie. Shows a unique look on dating in ur late 20's, early 30's. Jennifer Carpenter's portrayal of Kate is very fun, yet vunerable. I loved her take on the different degrees of dating. Also love amazon instant video, it's great that it's compatible on so many different devices.

Awful

Let me put it to you this way..... I turned it off about 1/3 of the way through. It was almost insulting to the generation of people that it pretends to represent and how their relationships don't work. The attempts at humor were pathetic and the characters vapid.

I want the 40 minutes of my life back.
