Sensory play is a crowd pleasing activity in our family—our kids get to dive into their creative worlds & happy kids means happy parents—so I excitedly read this book for some more inspirational ideas for future bins.
I love how well organized the instructions and tips were, from materials needed, to chapters divided by themes (Amazing Animals, Incredible Pretend Play, Easy Rice Bins, Simple Steam, etc.). My favorite themes are the “Brilliant Book-Based Bins” & “Exciting Seasonal & Holiday” themed bins. So fun and festive!
Each activity comes with an age recommendation (most are 18 months+), setup time, materials needed, useful tips, and clear step by step instructions (from setup, play, to what to discuss).

We bought this book to provide different types of play for my 2.5 year old toddler. The book is filled with various ideas with easily accessible material. Clear directions are provided and I was able to use things that are already in my home. My daughter loves Octonauts so we created an ocean sensory bib with blue salt and sea creatures. We paired the corn sensory bin with out barn and animals in which my toddler played independently for over an hour. This book is a wonderful addition to our home and I highly recommend it.
