I love how well organized the instructions and tips were, from materials needed, to chapters divided by themes (Amazing Animals, Incredible Pretend Play, Easy Rice Bins, Simple Steam, etc.). My favorite themes are the “Brilliant Book-Based Bins” & “Exciting Seasonal & Holiday” themed bins. So fun and festive!
Each activity comes with an age recommendation (most are 18 months+), setup time, materials needed, useful tips, and clear step by step instructions (from setup, play, to what to discuss).
Fun fact:
Did you know that sensory play supports childrens’ cognitive growth, language development, fine and gross motor skills, problem solving skills, and social interaction? Combining the sense of touch with the sense of vision, hearing, taste, and smell help build nerve connections in the brain’s pathways to build cognitive skills.
