I watch a lot of shows in this genre. And this one is way too spazzed out; nothing is organic. The main characters can act fine, but they're totally miscast! They all look waaaayy too young and waaayy too perfect looking to be the members of this elite FBI International unit. It could never be reality! I could believe that they're up-and-coming fashion models. That's way more believable.
This is like a fast-paced Scooby Doo remake with really good production and non-stop, pounding, repetitive dramatic music that gets annoying fast. There's no emotion here, no real story that grips you and reels you in.
It's entertaining, sure. But it's not very good. They overdid it, rather than focusing on great writing and storylines. There is nothing here to make us believe these fresh-off-the-catwalk students could actually run ANY government unit, and it's very distracting. They belong on a fashion catwalk.
The show FBI is way better than this. At least the leader of their unit doesn't look like he just graduated college. If you like quality cop/crime dramas, the award-winning series "19-2" outta Canada is REALLY phenomenal! This one is a disappointment. They tried too hard.
Update: I've warmed up to it a little, but it's still nothing new or unique or memorable. Unfortunately, the constant pounding music IS memorable. It's like an omnipresent main character all on its own. Meh.
