After running into each other a couple of times she finally agrees to go out with him. Only she is still hung up on the fact he slept with her roommate.

I liked the story overall and read in one sitting. Parts of the plot needed some detail such as the effects of Trick's panic attacks/PTSD. The whole parent part could have been left out and seemed contrived to get to the label of gf instead of friend. I will read more from this series!

Gaby finds it awkward to handle his interest in her after he spent the night with Lila and that feels about right. Trick is very gentle with her feelings and willing to try dating which is new for him. The story ends too quickly. I have read quite a few of Zoe's books but this was a different genre to the paranormal I was used to.
