My four year old and six year old read these books together. They really loved them! They laughed several times and enjoyed the overall story. It only took them a short time to read them, which was the only negative, but I'm still glad we got them.
So I got this book mainly because I have 3 boys. They find gas hilarious. I read it with 8 year old and he laughed everytime they boys passed gas. He found the astronaut suit part the funniest. He couldnt believe that someone wrote such a silly book. Now, its is pretty silly and had some illustrations in it. I think he enjoyed it overall. It took us a while read as he doesnt sit still for long. I think for boys its a fun read. We voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy.
Very funny in a bad body function way! Two brother, Peter and Willy along with their sister's hamster Squeaky go on an unexpected adventure passing gas and noxious fumes to many unassuming victims and end up taking a trip to the moon. With fart fights and an alien war over our moon this is one odd adventure, This book in not for the feint of smells, gross descriptions and great drawings make this a very fun read, there's even an important message snuck into the story. This is not a book for everyone, the butt baring farts, the interaction with the alien and gas weaponry may need a little more mature audience.
Willy and Peter are brothers especially gifted at the art of flatulence. While at home, this normally gets them in trouble. But while encountering aliens from Uranus, their gift is an incredible asset. Maybe too much of an asset. Will they escape?
I loved the second book in the Fantastic Flatulent Fart Brothers series! You don't have to read them in order, and I think this one is even better than the first. What could be better than farts in space? Annoying little sisters? And possibly my favorite characters, The Big Fat Pupu Face, Pipi Face and Pipi Pants. (And here I am laughing again!) I cannot recommend this book enough for kids drawn to potty humor with cartoon illustrations like Captain Underpants, Icky & Ricky, or Fart Squad: Fartasaurus Rex.
This was a somewhat cute albeit gross book. I really liked the illustrations and the ease with which the book could be read by its targeted age group. I didn't care for the book built around farts, but it was a nice story. I couldn't get my nine or seven year old interested in reading it or being read to from it. I don't think we are family that finds farts funny maybe.
Despite that it was still a decent kids book that I would recommend to other families.
I voluntarily reviewed this book after receiving an ARC.
Admittedly this wasn't my cup of tea- however, it was my 8 year old son's! He is a reluctant reader and sometimes it's hard to get him engaged. Not do with this book 😉 He had been reading this to me and my 3 year old niece and savoring every bit of it! Both now run around talking about booty blasters and giggling. We have just a little further to go in this one but he's already excited about there being more available and they are definitely in our future
Perfect for young boys (and men who never grew up)! I read this one to my husband and daughter and he loved it. She laughed, but also complained that it as "stinky". I actually enjoyed it, much to my surprise.
I voluntarily received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book
This is my first book from this author and I may end up keeping my eye on this author. This book pulls you right when you open the book til the end. This book is truly made for boys and boys would fart in public than girls would. Peter seems that he likes to get into trouble and dont care about the punishments and then you have willey who thinks about the punishements if they do something wrong.
Gross, dumb bodily functions jokes, silly--all the sick stuff kids (especially boys) of that age love. My granddaughters loved the farting dog books so they would probably like these too. I'm in favor of almost any book that convinces them to read.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This fun kid's book was read with two young boys 7 & 8 years old . It was great for a couple afternoons stuck inside during some rain and here has what they have said about this book; It was so funny and the boys in the story ate a lot of gross stuff that made the fart and they did a lot of funny stuff . They went to the moon and did a lot of farts and saw some aliens. The pictures were really funny .
Its really funny because they blast around the spaceship with their farts. It was not hard to read and I would like to read more books like this. I am 9 years old and I think all kids would like this, especially boys who like comic books. My son voluntarily reviewed this advance reader copy.
