Forgettable faux found footage

A ghost-hunting team embarks on a hunt at Farhope Tower that they shouldn't in order to snag a series. Upon arrival at Farhope Tower we immediately get dire warnings from THOSE WHO KNOW. The team walks around in a huge icky venue, shivering in cold-spots, asking for answers in EVP, chasing fleeting visions of each other, and marveling at the Escherian architecture. Until they all, um, never mind. Don't want to give anything away that you couldn't guess before they even entered the jernt.

Well, apparently, the writer of this thing had a girlfriend that cheated on him and got pregnant. So he made a film where both the ghosts and the main characters had the same problem. There, now you know the whole story, so i've saved you the bother of watching this drivel.

Watch Grave Encounters again instead.
Verified purchase
This is Grave Encounters, but not as interesting. Slightly different set-up, same dorks with cameras and "keep filming!" then once it really gets going, the similarities are glaring. I don't hate it. But it's annoying and not really as interesting. I have it on while I'm doing other things and it's okay. There aren't any really fun visual scares so you can listen and not miss much. On the other hand it irked me enough to write a review so.. meh.

Not Good, Not Terrible

Showed a little promise and then just fell apart. One of the character's motivations didn't make any sense once they were in the building and it's the central character.

I think I'm being overly generous with a 2.5 star rating

The plot was alright, but there was something wrong the execution of this movie. It was as though the pacing was off the whole time so that everything kind of happened at the wrong time, so it just didn't flow correctly. Things were rushed and there was never any sort of suspense.

while not the best its not the worst , the story , the actors ,were just fine , the lighting was 50/50..jumps and scares were few , and far between. This was more of a thriller , not a horror, 2nd watch 06/30/2021.

Shameful Garbage

Complete Garbage movie that promotes domestic violence. I love horror films, but don't enjoy watching women getting beaten to death.

If you like plot holes, this is your movie...

Refreshingly not found-footage, but tons of glaring plot holes. There's obviously electricity to the building because the top of it is lit up in the exterior night shots. Unfortunately for this movie, it starts out decent and steadily declines to a very unimaginative finale. By the end, I was almost angry at it for being so disappointing, but it really wasn't even worth it. Oh, and warning to anyone who's ever been on the receiving end of domestic violence; skip it. Actually, just skip it anyway.
