I typically love Fern Michaels, but this book seemed more like a book hurriedly written, and finished quickly. More a young adult book than for more mature readers. And obviously not edited very well, as there are so many errors of extra words in sentences. Very distracting. Maybe her next book will be better.

Fear Your Neighbor is by Fern Michael. I have been used to reading al the Sister series and this is nothing like that. As I was reading it, I wanted to doublecheck the author. I was really surprised to realize it was Fern Michaels.
Alison ran away from her final foster home shortly before her eighteenth birthday. She was definitely not staying to be raped or killed by her foster parents’ son! For the next twelve years, she traveled from Ohio to Georgia and finally to the Tampa Bay, Florida area. She found herself in Palmetto Bay and decided to look at a beach house that was for sale. She just might settle down. She had met Renee and her mother Valentina and made some friends. This was something new for her. There were some weird people here too: Old John, Betty, Tank, Gil, Hal, and others. Then in just twenty-four hours, everything turned upside down. Could Alison find her way out of this mess?
