Wish the straw and pipette worked
Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2021
The most useful part of this water bottle is the fact that it holds a gallon of water and the markings let you know how you’re progressing throughout the day. Now on to the not-so-great aspects. First, the straw and pipette never worked. The pipette and straw don’t fit together snugly, so there is no way for the straw to work: you suck and get air. That is annoying because I feel the straw is what would make drinking from a huge gallon jug do-able. So to drink from the actual bottle, I have to hold the bottle with both hands and tip it into my mouth. This alone (besides my family laughing at me each time they see me do this) wouldn’t be so bad, but the spout on this somehow sloshes water in your face as you drink. Alternatively, if you try to pour from it into a glass, it sloshes water out as it pours, which gets on the counter. Lastly, the clasp function that keeps the lid closed broke within the first week. Luckily, I was able to push the metal piece back in, but now I have to push it back in each time I use the clasp (so each time I drink from it). If I don’t, I won’t be able to open the lid to the bottle. So, in essence, I have used this daily since getting it 12 days ago, but I am mostly disappointed that I can’t use the straw.
