Dr. Flynn Slater has had to work hard to get where he is in life. Looked down on as a child for not having much, he was out to make a better life for him and his mother. FIERCE-FLYNN - is a standalone read with a happy ending. There are sexy scenes if that is an issue for you. This is another good matchmaking story with the Fierce family. This one has a slight twist as the matchmakers are in for a surprise.

Flynn has had a tough childhood and into adulthood. His single mother has worked hard and devoted her life to her son and giving him the best life possible. They are a great pair. He is very grateful for all his mother has done and has every intention of making her life as good as possible. He is single, an oncology surgeon, he has finally met his match.

Julia, a teacher and sister to Mick, engaged to Stella, another match set up by the matchmakers. She has been a friend of the Fierce family for some time. When the matchmakers get together and decide to find a match for Flynn their first thoughts go to Julia.

This is a good love story and a good addition to the Fierce family. I really enjoyed it and I definitely recommend it. I would love to see the matchmakers get together and find the perfect match for Flynn's mom!! Now that would be a good story.

Flynn was raised by a single mother who would work several jobs at a time to make ends meet. Flynn is definitely a mama’s boy and only wants to make sure that his mom has the best of everything for the sacrifices that she made. Whomever he chooses for a life partner will have to accept that. But that is the problem, most women that he has dated cannot understand his protective nature toward his mother.
Julia was raised by a mother that always put men before her children. Julia loves the way that Flynn treats his mother and wish that she could have that type of relationship with own mother. Julia tries so hard not to be like her mother that she almost let’s love pass her by.
Natalie Ann is the best when it comes to writing about family dynamics. This book can be read as a stand a lone but much more enjoyable when read in series order.

I love it when the Fierce’s get together and target who is next to be set up. This time it was completely unnecessary. Flynn and Julia met at a party and hooked up. Julia runs out the next morning because she can’t believe that she did that. A couple of months go by and they run into each other again. Julia’s not gonna blow it this time. She and Flynn keep quiet that they are dating. Meanwhile the Fierce’s along with Flynn’s mom are trying to set them up. Julia and Flynn have a good laugh over this when they realize what they are doing. These two are meant to be. They come from pretty much nothing and make something of their life. Flynn’s mom is great. She didn’t ask to be left as a single parent. Julia’s mom is not so great. She chooses her crappy life. Together Flynn and Julia can have the life that they deserve.

I normally enjoy the Fierce family and the matchmaking but this book was so repetitive! Flynn and Julia had a lot of baggage between them and they had a similar childhood. The last several chapters were the best parts of the book but I got very tired of reading the same thing over and over about Flynn‘s relationship with his mother. I hope the next book is more interesting.

Another great story about the matchmaking Fierce family. This one is a fun story with some emotional, heartwarming moments too. You can't help but wonder if Julia and Flynn will EVER admit they are more than just friends. It has some humorous moments when Flynn walks into Julia's class on career day . I also laughed reading about Julia's date with an online guy. (anyone who has done this, knows it happens!!!)
Julia is a teacher with heart and Flynn is an oncology surgeon so you know they just have to be perfect for each other. (no spoilers here)
I enjoyed this story.

The Fierce parents are exceptional at match making!

Flynn and Julia are now in their sights! But, I'm not sure these two need their help! Or, do they! Maybe a little help here and there.

They definitely hit it off at that party and after too! Big Smile!

But was it a one night stand? Not if the Fierce's have anything to say or do about it!

I absolutely adore this family and their friends!

Flynn has worked very hard to get where he is in life. He went from a childhood without much to a successful doctor. Now he can take care of his mother- if she will let him- so she can stop her job cleaning up after other people. His mom just wants him to be happy and settle down but he doesn’t think that is going to happen- until he meets Julia.

Julia has recently moved to be closer to her older brother even though they haven’t had much of a relationship for years. That’s partly due to their upbringing- neither one could wait to get away from their parents. The problem is that now her brother thinks he needs to butt into her personal life when Julia has been taking care of herself for a long time. In addition to that, the Fierce matchmakers have set their sights on her.

Another great Fierce family book from Natalie Ann. I absolutely fell in love with Flynn! He is such a sweetheart. As usual, the characters are all very well written and it is so nice to see the recurring characters from previous books. Natalie Ann may write romances but she also writes family… and she does it so well!
