I was born six months before man landed on the moon. I was blessed to grow up in the country, where my family lived largely off the land.

When I wasn’t fishing, exploring the woods, or weeding the garden, I devoured comic books like Two-Gun Kid and The Rawhide Kid before moving on to the exciting adventure stories of Jack London and Louis L’Amour.

Our black-and-white TV got three channels, though you could lose one and pick up another if you went outside and messed with the antenna. On its grainy screen, we watched Gunsmoke, Bonanza, and movies starring John Wayne and Clint Eastwood.

Now a husband and father, I love exploring the West and reading history and fiction alike. My favorite authors are Louis L’Amour, Elmore Leonard, C.J. Petit, and R.O. Lane.

As a writer, I hope to entertain you with fun stories of the old West. My good guys are good, my bad guys are bad, and you’ll always find a touch of romance to sweeten the grit.

I truly enjoyed the first two books in this series but this is my favorite so far. For me as a born again Christian, the best thing about these books are the Biblical references. I wish there could be less killing and violence but the good vs. evil theme makes it better for me. And I truly enjoy the devoted love Justice has for his wife and family. Just a great series!

After organizing his neighbors and putting an end to the rich and powerful antic’s of this stories antagonist, Justice requests an exception to the oath he took to remain single for life in his former life.

Continuing to put together the puzzle of who he is, Justice learns his brother, like he and his dad were part of the “Silent Justices.” He learns his cousin is like he watching over his ranch and animals.

In this episode Justice learns the names of those at the top of the pecking order who were responsible his attempted murder and goes against his employers directions and travels to Mexico with his trusted friend to bring evil killers to justice.

In Mexico, a price is put on his head resulting in several groups of antagonists seeking his capture alive.

Like his other tales in this series, this one is well told, absolutely spellbinding, and an entertaining quick and easy read.

I recommend this and the entire series to family, friends, and others who enjoy exceptionally well written tales in this genre.

I started to read the first book the same day I received it, shortly afterwards, I was hooked and ordered the other two books, arriving the very next day (Thank you Amazon) which I read in four days. Reading these novels reminded me of a Zane Grey novel. The imagery, authenticity, attention to detail and action packed scenes, loving relationships, frienships and strong bonds between man and beast, made it most enjoyable and reminded me of Zane Grey, my favourite author.
Keep up the excellent work John, I can forsee a day or shall I say a novel that will make you my favourite author.
I look forward to this triology becoming a movie.
