Here's a tip: never trust a jackass in preppy clothing.
The phrase "trust me" should have been my first clue to hightail it out the door, but hindsight is always 20/20.
So there I was, on a stage with two other men, being asked ridiculous questions by a woman I couldn't see, but whose voice made my pants tighten - and not around my ankles.
Before I knew what was happening, I'd signed up for six weeks in paradise, isolated on an island for 42 days with a complete stranger. And when I finally laid eyes on the sexy brunette who belonged to that voice, a part of me thought this wouldn't be so bad.
I've always been a levelheaded guy. I am a successful, smart, and shrewd business man. But that was when I was listening to the head above my shoulders. Once the blood traveled south, I always ran into trouble.
She called me Mr. Wrong, and that was fine with me.
Lesson learned: lust always trumps logic.
Finding Mr. Wrong is a contemporary romance standalone novel meant for listeners who are 18+ due to mature content.

4.5 stars!!!
“Wrong never felt so right.”
This is one of those books that the doctors ordered, my Saturday was totally taken over by Jude Soren and his Sparky. There were tears of laughter, tears of upset, but by the end my grin was as wide as anything and the perma smile stayed there for the rest of the day.
Sometimes, when you have a new collaboration, the change in authors is easy to spot, especially if you read one particular author more than the other. I have read all of Joanne Schwehm’s book and have read a few of AM Madden’s but I have to say the flow and style was seamless and flawless and that made this an effortless read.
“Keep the flame burning and don’t lose your spark.”
Our heroine, Brae, has found herself on tough times. She has just quit her job after finding her boyfriend, who happened to be her boss, cheating on her and she just couldn’t stay there. Brae has been silently supporting her parents who are in danger of losing their farm and home and now that she has lost her job the foreclosure notice is getting closer and closer. Brae gets an email just at the right time, a social experiment of sorts for a cool half a million dollars in prize money. Six weeks on an island with a stranger, all in the name of finding love…but there are catches.
“I agree with Brae. He’s hot as f***. I’ve never, and I mean never, seen such perfection in a man. I’d volunteer to be his spunk funnel any day!”
Jude Soren is one sexy Swede and AM Madden and Joanne Schwehm have certainly created a character that will have all the women swooning. Jude runs his own finance company, is extremely well off and is a little like Peter Pan, the boy that never grew up. Jude and his two friends are like frat brothers still, they play pranks on one and other and the latest to be played on Jude was his sign up to this competition. Jude goes out of his way not to get picked, his arrogance and vulgarity on show for all to see, yet little did he know that Brae didn’t want to find a Mr Right, she wanted a Mr Wrong so she wouldn’t fall in love…
“There he was in all his Swedish glory. God love a Swede. If I had a Swedish flag, I’d wave it with pride. If I knew his parents’ address, I’d send them a thank you card.”
AM Madden and Joanne Schwehm delivered a book that will have you laughing out loud. The banter between Jude and his friends and Brae and hers will have you laughing and snorting in no time. The dialogue was on point throughout and it is through this that these two authors nailed that character connection. Even when it is just Jude and Brae that witty, barbed dialogue just cements these as two characters that you cannot help but fall in love with.
“What does it say?”
“It says I need to pleasure you…finally, something to look forward too.”
“No, it doesn’t. Give me that.”
“You’re such an ass. It doesn’t say pleasure me. It says you need to please me.”
“Meh, same difference.”
At first, these two keep their frosty persona’s firmly in place and it is this “hate you” mentality that really breaks the ice. Once those layers are peeled away on a beautiful island the true Jude and Brae are revealed and opposites definitely attract. The chemistry between these two was ever present, even from when they first set eyes on one and other and both fight it because it is not what they wanted but sometimes love has other ideas.
“I’ve found something I didn’t know I was looking for.”
This book pulled every single emotion out of me. As I said above, I had tears of laughter and tears of upset, because of course, love is never plain sailing. But AM Madden and Joanne Schwehm delivered a book perfectly balanced, a little angst, lots of romance, hot hot hot sizzling chemistry and between the sheets action with two characters that were adorable from the get go. The other characters that these two authors have introduced are comical in their own right and I cannot wait to see where they go with them, I am hoping that there are at least another two books on the horizon as cupid shoots its bow once again. Fantastic job, totally and utterly adored this book.
“Thanks for picking me, Sparky.”
A.M Madden and Joanne Schwehm give us the perfect mixture of humor sexiness and drama in Finding Mr. Wrong. The romance is fun and sensuous but of course not without complications. The story is unconventional. It's captivating!
I love these characters, from Brae and Jude whose antics and passion had me smiling and in awe until the very end, to the best friends who are just as fascinating.
There is so much more to this story then just a swoon worthy hero, but If JUDE is Mr. Wrong then no one would ever want Mr. Right. A must read for anyone who enjoys an irresistible romantic page turner of a story.
What starts as a chance to earn some money she desperately needs in order to help her family, Brae Daniels finds herself on a tropical island for the next 6 weeks with the very sexy, very cocky Jude Soren and her life is never the same again. These two play a game of cat and mouse like seasoned pros and it's anyone's guess as to whether they will survive this social experiment or not.
OMG what an absolutely joyful ride this was. Both Brae and Jude hold their own with witty comebacks and smart as hell comments. Their hesitation to make this any more than it needs to be only fuels the heat between them. Their chemistry is wildly hot and between fanning myself and feeling as frustrated as they both did, it's a wonder any of us survived!
In addition, the authors masterfully weave a slew of tender moments amidst all the mayhem. The humor is infectious and proves both Madden and Schwehm are at the top of their game with this book.
I fell hard and fast for both Jude and Brae and couldn't wait to see how it would all turn out. Together with their best friends, this is one adventure I honestly could not put down. The characters are well written and extremely likable. It has all the feels you crave and is quite simply the very best kind of feel good love story.
Very highly recommended and one I could read over and over again. This one is a keeper for sure. Finding Mr. Wrong never felt so right!
A huge 5+ stars!
The two were fated to end up together, and destined to fall in love with each other as well. Their chemistry was steaming off the pages, and dangerously combustible at times; there was no other outcome for them once Jude and Brae each had a taste of each other. Their brief separation from each other was painful, but only emphasized how right they were together.
Great storyline, though the very embarrassingly basic errors in misspellings, plurals (brother-in-laws, REALLY?!? It's brothers-in-law!), punctuation - just too many distracting errors that raise the question of whether proofreading/editing was done? Still, a good story, and one I enjoyed immensely.

Brae is a lovely character who finds herself in an atrocious situation thanks to her cheating ex also being her boss. Desperate to help her parents keep their family farm, and now jobless she agrees to undertake a social experiment to see if spending 6 weeks in a tropical paradise can ignite the love of a lifetime.
Jude is a consummate businessman and playboy, putting his career first and foremost and viewing women as a means to pleasure. He is signed up to participate in the trial as a prank as payback by his best friend, Kyle. Happy with his lifestyle, Jude does everything possible to prove he is the wrong person to pick to spend time alone with, unfortunately for Jude, his answers are exactly what Brae is looking for in order to protect her heart.
The chemistry between Jude and Brae is off the charts sizzling from the beginning. No matter how much they try to avoid intimacy is inevitable. What Jude and Brae don’t expect is how much they genuinely like each other within a short space of time. It is quickly apparent that there is so much more to Jude than he lets most people see, experience with a variety of gold-diggers has made him guarded. Brae’s genuine nature and stubborn pride dig it’s way beneath Jude’s barriers and into his heart. Unfortunately, Jude isn’t used to dealing with his emotions and mistakes are inevitable.
The relationship between Jude and Brae may have occurred quickly within the bubble of paradise but it doesn’t make it any less real. However, they have to fight for the continuation of the ‘spark’ they started when back in the real world.
The romance within Finding Mr. Wrong is utterly swoon worthy, you can’t help but cheer Jude and Brae toward their happily ever after.
The colorful group of friends surrounding the couple adds to the captivating quality of the story. I cannot wait to see what happens next.

Look what A.M. Madden has given us since (The Back-Up Series) that's where it all started and you can't fault a thing... she's full of variety and Finding Mr Wrong was exactly that add in a good dose of sex appeal courtesy of the perfect Jude and the brilliantly written storyline and you couldn't ask for more.
Jude and Brea are in the stunning St John and after getting off to a rocky start they soon become very comfortable with each other dispite trying each other's patience from time to time. We get some brilliant moments whether it be their banter or just trying to come to terms with what's to come or certain situations they find themselves in... all seems to be going as planned.!
Having no way of communicating because of the mobile phone ban was the downfall and the cause of everything going wrong in the matter of minutes coupled with miss understandings, Brea finds herself not only back at square one but with a broken heart too.
It's all a bit doom and gloom after such a high, Brea is being stubborn believing that she has been wronged but Jude never gives up, it takes a lot of effort but it pays off eventually... he gets his sparky back and we all breath a sigh of relief.
Towards the end when we meet Brea's parents it becomes absolutely hilarious, there's a lot of laugh out loud moments especially with Jude trying to work out certain things Brea's mother brings up... so funny!
I loved all the characters especially Kyle for setting Jude up, without him the Love and Sparks wouldn't of happened and I can't wait for Kyle and Luca's story... more fun and frolics I'm sure.!
I am not familiar with Joanne Schwehm but one things for sure, along with A.M. Madden they worked well together.. they bought this fabulous story with the promise of so much more..!!
Thank you..

Jude and Brae go on a reality show for different reasons. She needs money to finance and save her parents farm, he gets pranked by his friends. So we have some altruistic reasons and some childish ones. So you can only imagine the sparks that will fly between these two.
This book was a nice and fun read, but was serious at times as well. It was very well written and the authors managed to keep the writing fluid and the storyline going at all times. I laughed, I cried with these two and I really hoped the two main characters will find their HEA.
This book is so worth the read, nice holiday story by the pool whilst sipping on your cocktail.
