If you're a horse lover, you'll absolutely love this movie! It stars happily married real life husband & wife country superstar Clint Black & his gorgeous wife, Lisa Hartman Black. Very good storyline. A warm & fuzzy movie great for the whole family to watch! I really enjoyed it & have already watched several times as I am a huge fan of Lisa Hartman Black!

Good movie. Enjoyed watching Flicka being trained and winning the dressage competition.

Good movie. Good story, okay acting although I have seen better, some inspiring moments, great for anyone that loves horses! I do like the first Flicka better even though I don't ride western and do so eventing! But the acting and storyline in the original is better.

After dropping the ball on the frist two,Horay! they got the third one right,even clint black look good in the movie,how about that.of corse I would have like a better ending,like the girl ending up with both horses,and clint black marrying the stable owner,but that's life. you can't have everthing..enjoy...Starlite

The day after watching this movie as a family our 4 year daughter said " Mommy, today I am going to pay attention and do everything Miss Molly (riding teacher) asks me to perfectly". She also proceeded to name her doll horse "Flicka" after watching the movie.

This is an unusual movie in the sense that the teenager in the lead role is nice to her now single mother, and works hard to keep the family horse stable afloat. The storyline is very similar to Moondance Alexander, which is not too surprising since Moondance was written and directed by the same team. I guess they liked Moondance so much they decided to tell the same story all over again. But I'm not complaining. I enjoyed both movies and strongly recommend them, especially for families that include at least one horse lover.
