Can you keep a secret?
I grew up sick. Let me clarify: I grew up believing that real love stories include a martyr or demand great sacrifice to be worthy. Because of that, I believed it, because I made myself believe it, and I bred the most masochistic of romantic hearts, which resulted in my illness. When I lived this story, my own twisted fairy tale, it was unbeknownst to me at the time because I was young and naïve. I gave into temptation and fed the beating beast, which grew thirstier with every slash, every strike, every blow.
Triple Falls wasn’t at all what it seemed, nor were the men that swept me under their wing. But in order to keep them, I had to be in on their secrets. Secrets that cost us everything to keep. That’s the novelty of fiction versus reality. You can’t re-live your own love story, because by the time you’ve realized you’re living it, it’s over. At least that was the case for me and the men I trusted my foolish heart to. Looking back, I’m convinced I willed my story into existence, due to my illness, and all were punished.
The Ravenhood trilogy is a gritty, modern-day take on Robin Hood filled with suspense, thrills, and all the feels.

Flock made me feel! I was in a constant state of intrigue and arousal. From start to finish!
The story is told from one POV. Nineteen year old Cecelia who comes to live with her estranged father for a year to help out her mother.
Cecelia has always been the girl who plays it safe. She’s an introvert and has taken care of her mother when it really was supposed the be other way around. Cecelia’s life changes irrevocably when she meets the older Sean and his brotherhood of friends. This is Cecelia’s story. A story of love, heartbreak and most certainly also a journey of self discovery.
Flock is phenomenal. It’s entertainment. It’s erotic and suspenseful. A complete package. I was enamored with these amazing and layered characters and impressed with the premise of the story. Stewart left me guessing and questioning while I fell deeper down the rabbit hole. It’s twisted and so damn addictive. Some questions were answered and agendas revealed. Stewart sets up the reader for an epic conclusion with Flock. She’s laid the perfect foundation for the sequel and I seriously can’t wait to see what she has in store. It’s been awhile since Stewart ventured out in this genre and I’m so damn happy she did. I’m obsessed with this wicked, brilliant mind of hers.
5+ Raven Stars
There are simply no words for the intensity of this story. The characters and this storyline pushed every boundary and left me shocked, completely and utterly mind blown and thoroughly addicted. The mystery of this novel is just wonderful. It’s absolutely brilliant because Kate Stewart has successfully crafted a story that kept me guessing, kept me on my toes, had me more than fully engaged and constantly thinking. Flock is a conspiracy theorist dream...well to me it is! To say that Kate Stewart has truly outdone herself is huge understatement. She completely obliterated my expectations with Flock. Simply magnificent!
Without a shadow of a doubt, Flock is undoubtedly one of the best books of the year. HANDS DOWN! I’m just sitting here, showering this book with ALL the stars and praise I have to give because it fully deserves it. This book is the reason I read. I literally want to cry at Kate’s feet right now for writing this book. LOL. I loved every single second of it and am absolutely desperate for Exodus. Thank you Kate!
***Minor spoilers ahead***
It feels like it was written by a sheltered 17 year old girl who conducted a cursory google search of polyamory and thought she could write a super “edgy” story based solely on that. The author is fixated on telegraphing her characters’ personality traits instead of actually showing them. There’s a lot of ‘telling’ instead of ‘showing’ in general in this book actually. Except the sex scenes. Those are just straight up porn which can be fun but got suuuper old after a while. The plot is nonexistent and the writing is cringe-worthy. Seriously any chance this author could stick verbs like “lick” or “slide” or “tug” she went for it even when it had nothing to do with physical bodies. I’m pretty sure I remember her describing something like tires ‘licking’ the road...why?? Can’t forget about the near constant misogynistic undertones in the male leads and the internalized misogyny in the female lead as well!
I had seen so many RAVES about this book. I thought it must be good. I love a good passionate romance with some morally questionable but thoroughly fleshed-out leads. This is not that. This is immature garbage. If that’s what you’re looking for, go pick up a copy of Outlander.
I do not have the right words...WOW! This is a deviously, twisted tale of a modern take on an old favorite. Buckle the eff up...it’s a suspense filled ride. Open your mind and enjoy the freedom it brings.
I think going in blind is the best way to enjoy this story. I read the blurb but it really left me with more questions than answers.
Cecelia is moving in with her father from whom she has been estranged. He is a cold man that only ever saw her as a financial obligation. She has come to live with him for one year to learn the family business and claim her inheritance.
Her father has money, but being raised by a single mother they scraped by. Cecelia is no stranger to work or earning her place. So being a factory worker is just fine by her.
Cecelia’s first friend will be someone that changes everything and opens her mind to so many things.
Enjoy the journey. I have so many questions and I cannot wait to get all the answers. Nothing is cut and dry. So many cryptic hints will be dropped. There is a plan for which ground work has been laid. I cannot wait to find out where the author takes us.
This story was fresh and kept me interested. I devoured it as I just needed to know all the things. The author definitely left me wanting more. I am counting down to the conclusion.

Plot wise, all you really need to know is that Cecilia is making her way back to the small town she previously spent a year in, where her father owns a factory. The story then jumps back in time to Cecilia at 18/19 years old, when she has agreed to work for her father for a year, so that he can give her money for college & so her and her mum are financially set. Cecilia hasn't ever had a relationship with her dad so they aren't close. She's mature for her age, as she had to grow up early having to take care of her reckless and depressed mother. Also, this is not a fantasy. There was not a werewolf in sight, although at times it did feel like one would be popping out at any moment.
It started off well but I honestly thought about giving up about 50 pages in, because I wasn't sure if this was something for me. The whole "weed, cars and parties" isn't really my thing. But the grumpy, mysterious Dominic and the chemistry between Cecilia and Sean had me hooked, so I sucked it up and overlooked some things.
It turned out to be very good. Mysterious, raunchy, a bit wild.
The plot itself gets a little bit confusing towards the end where we're given the big reveal, but it was mostly due to the fact that it was dragged out and written in a waffly way.
There is also an age gap between Cecilia and her love interests - about eight years - so I'd recommend skipping this if that's not your thing.
I was expecting the story to jump back to present day Cecilia at twenty six, to continue from the prologue, but that didn't happen. Hopefully the next book will tell us what happened after she left town. Also the bloody prologue - the weirdest thing I've ever read! Please don't let this put you off, I promise the book is written in a normal way.
I truly enjoyed this a lot more than I initially expected and devoured it in a single day.

HOLY SMOKES PEOPLE!!!!!
I don't even know what it was that drew me to this book but DAMN!!!!
This is so well written, so clever and so thought provoking...
I'm speechless right now. That ending.....SEND HELP....
A group of Raven's is called a conspiracy - go figure.

This series was EVERYTHING and with everything comes an ache in my chest that I don't think will ever go away and if I'm being honest I dont ever want it too. This series has changed me in ways I could never have expected
.
The relationships, the storyline, the setting the French (oh the French) and the playlist that I've listened to everyday, just delivered in ways I can't even begin to explain. I'm still torn about whether to post this or keep it to myself

Ceceila is a beautiful young woman that has been pulled by her very absent millionaire father to work for him for a year and she only agreed so she'll be able to take care of her mum and get her inheritance. She's not really felt real love from anyone except her mum. She arrived in Triple Falls quite naive. When she meets Sean things begin to change in her life in a big way and fast, in away that will change her forever and a way she won't see coming. There is a secret that Ceceila doesn't know yet. When she meets Dom he is a real ass at first but these three have a lot of chemistry between them and a connection that starts of so strong it seems unbreakable.
(NO SPOILERS)
I love the way that this author has written these characters they felt like real people and I was totally gripped from the very first page. My heart was hurting so much for Ceceila and I was really hoping for her to find the love she craves. This book has all the suspense, twists the reader will not see coming, hot hot hot steam and this book is a fabulous read. This style of writing from this author is awesome and I was captivated and now I'm desperately getting ready to jump into book 2. Thanks
I highly recommend that everyone reads this book as soon as because the story line flows throughout and it's an awesome book and I can't wait to get back to Triple Falls.
