Questo libro mi è piaciuto molto perchè trascina in un mondo tanto diverso dal nostro solito occidentale ed è ancora "intatto" anche se molti squarci si stano faccendo in Amazonia nell'incuranza del polmone verde del pianeta e credo anche nello sfruttamento delle pololazioni indigene.
Mi pare poi che l'autore abbia usato molta fantasia nella descrizione di queste donne fertili fino alla vecchiaia in cui personalmente non credo molto.
