Sweet Story in Two Languages

This is an adorable picture book about a tree that wishes he could see the world. A bird grants his wish. In his travels, he learns a very important lesson.
The illustrations in the book are large and colorful.
The story is written in rhyme, which flows pretty smoothly. It is told in green font in English on the top, and in red font in Chinese underneath.
I haven't seen a lot of bilingual books that include Chinese, so I think this book fills a nice niche.

This is a cute story. There is no place like home. I like that it shows that the grass isn't always greener on the other side. The tree shows appreciation for the area he lived in before. He had an okay time on his adventure but there just isn't any place like home.

I love that this book is in two languages - especially Chinese - which I don't see often of.
It was so charming and my son loved it! We were sent an ARC for an honest review.
A tree decides he needs a change of scenery and a sparrow decides to help him out. After a few adventures, the tree realizes that leaving home can leave a big hole and that sometimes, you're exactly where you need to be.

This is a wonderful book! The illustrations are very colorful. The rhyming text helps to move the story along. Having the story written in both English and Chinese allows readers to learn about another language.

It’s a cute book the tree flies every where with his bird friend. I love it’s in 2 languages. The graphics are cute and lovely. I was given an arc and I choose to give an honest review.

Wonderfully illustrated beautifully written story. Love the dual language offered in the book- especially with the variety of languages it's written in! Cute story about seeing the world and finding comfort in your home. This was the first digital book my 3 year old has read through and she loved it. Loved the pictures and the things the tree got to see/do.
