Forbidden Crown is a complete roller coaster of drama. You have a desperate 32 yr old writer who is trying to regain a favorable reputation by marrying a powerful socialite he loathes but can assist with clearing his image. The problem is he can't keep his mind and hands off the woman's 18 yr old daughter. And hell, she can't keep away from him either....

I appreciated the way this story was written. The attraction and love between the h/H developed naturally over time. Being told in dual perspectives is important when dealing with age gap romances, its important the Hero doesn't come across creepy AF! Jagger Cole did a great job delving into emotions and serving us a swoon worthy bad ass Hero. I felt for the heroine and her struggles to cope with anxiety. I should note, while the heroine is only 18 she comes across mature and is not a virgin. You can tell the author cared for these characters.

Minor typos. And a little repetitive in the first half of the book as the h/H fought their attraction.

The sexy times were fire!! If you've ever had a crush on your teacher... Well this story definitely plays out those fantasies!!

My favorite part of a JC novel is the promise of no cheating. Always respectful of relationship boundaries and I truly appreciate that!!

His publishing company dropped him and his assistant is planning on writing a tell all book full of lies about him and how he took advantage of her. While Bastian is drowning his sorrows in alcohol he sees Julianna and ends up leaving with her and they get naughty in an alley. When they both find out who the other one really is things get super complicated. This is a great read and I highly recommend it.

I really don't know how Jagger Cole does it, but with each new book, I fall in love with new characters and end up finding myself reading the entire book in one whole sitting. Seriously! I didn't move from start to finish and now I'm starving lol.

Julianna has gotten a crappy deal with parents. I am not rich and probably will never be rich, but I'm okay with that because I have parents who love me and don't treat me like how Julianna's parents treated her.

And Bastian... I mean, heavens, I instantly fell for him. He is so intense and blunt and just...Bastian. I admired both of their restraint at the beginning, but it was bound to happen and the sparks between them were exploding at the seams, even when everything was rooting against them.

It was wonderful seeing the other characters we have already read about and how...helpful they can be when motivated.

I already own the print of this book - instantly bought it before I read it. That's how much I love Cole's novels and I'm sure I will be doing that for the long foreseeable future. If you haven't read this series, you must! Grab them now! You won't regret it!

Ok here we go! I simply loved this book. However, I do think someone needs to find a Thesaurus for the word "hotly". I feel like I read that word like a hundred times. I wish there would have been a scene with Alistair getting arrested or something. In court maybe? I suppose what he got was good enough. Just a little confused on how things got twisted with the police, but it is what it is. Plus it would have been nice for her mother to get what she deserves or maybe something more sinister for Sergei? Being that you know his boss didn't approve of his plan. Oh well not trying to give anything away back to this book. I don't think it qualifies under " Bratva" since it's not really the main thing nor are the characters a part of it. There are a few typos & some that just made me shake my head because I wasn't sure how certain sentences were suppose to be read. However, despite all my issues & typos I absolutely loved their chemistry & need for one another. Definitely worth the read!

There’s always a touch of darkness in these stories, but this one gets very dark so mind the triggers. It pulled me in from the beginning and I stayed up all night reading it because just couldn’t put it down. I love these characters and their chemistry. The storyline is interesting and well written. There’s so much danger and intrigue and everything comes together so well from the previous books. I remember Juliana from Ilya’s book and she didn’t make a good first impression at all. It’s refreshing to see how much she has grown and watch her continue that growth. Lovely, dark, captivating read that doesn’t let up. Highly recommend!

This is another episode in the Oxford Hills Academy series this is a high school for the brightest and possibly richest offspring of the Elite society and these days also home to the young Bratva future leaders. This is Julianna's and her much older professors story, there is a fourteen year age difference but love doesn't care. These two have to go through many problems before they can finally be together. It's an interesting older man younger woman story.
