Forever by Your Side (Willamette Brides Book #3) Kindle Edition
Connie finds life on the reservation much bleaker than she remembered, and she is glad to have Tom by her side. But she also becomes reacquainted with Clint Singleton, the government agent on whom she had a crush as a girl. Now that she's back, Clint finally seems interested in her, but Connie is no longer sure of her feelings. As tensions on the reservation rise and war looms ever closer, Connie and Tom search for whoever is truly behind the uprising. With danger unfolding amid shocking revelations, Connie will also have a revelation of the heart.
From the Back Cover
After years away studying on the East Coast, Constance Browning is eager to return to her family and the reservation they serve as missionaries. She and her best friend and colleague, Thomas Lowell, have worked to get her assigned to his project cataloging the native peoples of Oregon for the Bureau of American Ethnology. But Connie and Tom have another purpose--to prove her parents are innocent of a conspiracy to goad the tribes into war.
Yet the reservation is much bleaker and the members filled with more animosity than she remembers. And the unexpected, sudden interest of Clint Singleton, the government agent on whom she had a crush as a girl, only confuses things more. With rumors of war brewing, Connie and Tom must discover who is truly behind the uprising before it's too late. With everything at stake, Connie will have to determine where her heart and future lie.

This Story also solves to Indian warring secrets, that was headed by Clint Singleton an agent with Indian affairs on Grand Ronde reservation and Samuel Lakwood, Gerome Bershire and other whites that wanted to see the Indians out of the Oregon state.
As always Ms. Tracie gave an amazing account of all details of these events. I enjoyed all 3 books, characters, locations and their hours that lead to love for several couple that were part Grace, Hope, and Mercy Flanagan's stories in previous stories. A must read! Give stars!!!
