Felicity and Brett were so cute together. They kept finding themselves in funny situations. I howled with laughter when Felicity went from "Frosty Felicity" to "Firey Felicity" but Brett called her Dr. Pepper. I just love how they both just knew they were their ONE even though they had only dated a short period of time. When you know, you know.

There was a reason why Felicity's mother called her "Frosty Felicity." Her heart was broken by two people that were near and dear to her. As a result, she turned into a snarky, brutely honest, barbed-tongued woman. This was her defense at keeping people away and love out of her heart. It took Brett to be that special person that she could really open up to. He accepted her as she was. Her heart of icicles slowly melted as she learned to love again. Brett was her person and she was his.

Brett learned to love again after his divorce, but his ex did not go so quietly into the night. She wanted another chance but Brett was not having it. He found what he needed and wanted in Felicity and made it known. With Brett and Felicity's relationship being a healing force in both of their lives, they were able to progress not only with their love for each other but also in their love of their careers as well.

Life is short, fleeting. Some of the people who used to come pick up their medicine are dead now. It sounds morbid, but it’s a stark reminder of just how fast life comes and goes. I watch my husband at times, especially around the holidays, holding a picture of his mother, and he is just sitting there. Looking at her. His heartbreaking. Heartbreak is like snowflakes, too…

It comes along, and it seems it will last forever, but with a little bit of time and healing, it melts, and goes away. My trust issues were bigger than what happened between my ex and my friend. That situation broke me, and it spoke more about me than anything else. My father has struggled to find love, but he’s open to it, and he wants it so badly. He’s had heartbreak, and though he feels sad sometimes, he’s hopeful, knowing that it will all melt away—those old, bad feelings—and a new opportunity will come. When we stop being snowflakes and become the icicles, that’s when change and healing can’t come. We can’t be breached. We can’t let pain go, and we can’t let love in…

We hang there, not moving. Dangerous. Knives made of ice. I had become hardened and cold, but that was never truly me. A tiny flame burned within me. Hope. It took someone special to see that, to touch me, and fracture the shield of frost around my love. Christmas comes once a year, but joy, laughter, and happiness are forever. I let go of pain. I love Tianna Laveen but lately her books has not measured up to her earlier novels. This was basically a novella for this author who normally releases novels well over 300 pages. Honestly I don’t think I would have made it beyond anything more than the 200 pages. This was by far my least favorite from this author. I’m not sure what going on but lately her books haven’t been that interesting. I didn’t like Felicity at all but I liked Brett. The other characters were just plan weird and Brett was the only redeeming part of the book. I’d say skip this one and check out some of her other works like the zodiac series or Ghostwriter. This one wasn’t really worth the price so my recommendation is spent your money on some of her other books.

This was a good book by one of my favorite authors.

This book made me laugh out loud. Felicity is hilarious and Brett is a man I wouldn't mind being arrested by. They had great chemistry and the story flowed nicely. She definitely had a way with words and a vivid imagination.

There were one or two errors but it didn't stop the flow of the story. I would definitely like a follow-up book of Felicity and Brett.

I was a person similar to her that used humor and sarcasm to hide the person that I was. It took my husband, who by the way is a awesome and a very patient person to see through it all. So thank you my favorite author for putting out another book that brought tears of joy and understanding to my eyes. Keep giving us what you do best my Sista, writing books that we hold near and dear to our hearts…. Congrats!!!!

I usually love Tiana books, this one is horrible. Not into comedy romance books. A little comedy is fine but the writer took it too far. I don't like Felicity at all. She too childish and immature for my liking. I purchased this book based on who wrote this book and for the 4 and half star rating. To all the one raving about this story I just don't get it. I'm going to return for a refund.
