Great political entertainment , but way too expensive.

The pricing/ number of episodes is a problem, but here's the largest problem w this show. I usually share a lot of opinions expressed here, but she tends to be short-sighted in the way she tries to influence opinion. That's not a luxury that we can afford during a time when the left desperately needs solidarity and basic understanding of what motivates the fence-sitting voters/#NevertRUMPers/moderates/disillusioned Republicans that are (1) the majority and (2) going to make the difference between 4 more years of mayhem or something better. I'm definitely a liberal myself, but the majority of Americans are not, that's the reality. As we move through the debate phase towards the primaries to decide who is going to be our candidate for President in 2020, we have an imperative to present an alternative that the majority can accept. It doesn't matter what she or I think of the two most left-leaning candidates, the FACT is that the majority are not NEARLY that left-leaning, and if we choose one of those two instead of ANY of the others who remain, ALL of which are very intelligent, express genuine empathy for others, actually have a solid grasp of issues that real people face and plans for genuine progress - ALL more moderate and consequently more electable to the majority than the two that Fox/MAHAs have branded as "socialists" (this doesn't happen to be my opinion, yet I see very clearly why they are being perceived that way) it's something that we HAVE to be mindful of if we want this madness to STOP bc we are NOT going to win with these two that Sam Bee has clearly picked out for us to support. On the last episode that has aired, she UNJUSTLY openly ridiculed every single candidate except these two that are basically interchangeable that we have NO chance of winning with, during a time when it's NOT going to be that hard to beat someone who has set the bar as low as it currently is. I'm BAFFLED by this. It's like the high school football coach putting his 110# 5'2" fumbling freshman slow-moving son in as QB for the state championship game, or the choir director selecting his morbidly obese tone-deaf daughter for the lead role as LITTLE Mary Sunshine over a petite girl with talent (both real-life very SELFISH choices I've actually witnessed, both with predictably bad results). My point is that sometimes you have to put your personal bias aside for the greater good and make choices reflective of that, and that time is most DEFINITELY now. She's GOT to let go of her personal bias and start getting behind what the MAJORITY will accept, and stop tearing the rest of the candidates down bc they really are good people with great ideas and intentions to improve things TOO, but they just happen to be moderate enough that the majority will much more likely accept them, which really should be the goal. Most of us desperately WANT a better choice, and, although I'd personally be ok with either of those two, the majority simply aren't going to vote for them, and we have an imperative to be mindful of this. The goal is to stop the madness that exists, and airing episodes that ridicule every single candidate except the two least electable bc she personally likes them isn't consistent with meeting our goal. It's offensive and inappropriate to run the candidates down that she doesn't personally happen to want, but more importantly, it's a symptom of the greater problems in our party. I find her ridicule of all but the two most liberal candidates EXTREMELY personally offensive, but more important than being offended by what she said about good people who genuinely didn't deserve any of that, I'm very troubled by what I see as a symptom of the larger problems in our party. I could certainly nit pick her chosen two the way she did the rest of them, but why do that, they are good people who both care and have good intentions, but guess what, they ALL DO. Tearing the rest apart the way she did on her last episode is EXACTLY what the Republicans want us to do. Every single one of them would be a blessing and a vast improvement over what we have now. This show needs to be more mindful of what our purpose should be. I'm very disappointed and offended by what I see right now. I wouldn't recommend this show to anyone the way it's been lately, this is so embarrassing, this is bad.
