The first book was a 5 star rating. This 2nd book about Rayne and Kyndal would have been a 5 star rating without the nonsense that the author wrote about Aidan and Andrew. It makes no sense; its like the author was trying to make it sound interesting, but to me it came across as nonsense. I mean first off, after Kyndal takes off his mask, he tells everyone that it was not his head that was tossed into the fire. Yet he chose not to mindtalk to the other dragons who clearly thought he was dead. So now he is mad because they did not come looking for him, really. Come looking for him for what? They did not know he was still alive, then , because his brother wanted to have a glimpse of his mate, he wants revenge. Total nonsense. For that, I don't care to continue reading this compilation of books. It really irks me when authors write nonsense for adults, with these women that act like 14 year old girls. Then its like stuff is made up along the way, in which it turns out to be a complete mess. Maybe in the future this author will think of better storylines for something that is revenge worthy.
