5.0 out of 5 stars Takes the Trial and Error out of the Application Process
By Scott B. Allan on June 2, 2019
"Are you struggling to understand how to do business with Government? Does responding to Government Requests for Proposals leave you feeling frustrated, confused, and overwhelmed? Did you know that every Request for Proposal is won way before it is ever published? Or that there are proposal evaluators who do not read your entire proposal response and yet they still score it?"

Submitting government tenders can be a nightmare...but thanks to this book they are now easier to both understand and to submit.

Government Tenders Don’t Suck! is a no-nonsense playbook for the overwhelmed small business owner who wants to navigate the complicated government tendering process and win.

Here is what this book will teach you:
1. Avoid common pitfalls and make the most of your business understanding, skills, and experience to win profitable Government Contracts.
2. Compete for business through structured and meaningful written responses to solicitations from potential government clients.
3. Figure out how to respond to government tenders without losing your mind, even when your resources are constrained.
4. Manage tender response operations on shoestring budgets through time-saving tools and templates you can rinse and reuse.

Monica has broken down the whole process from start to finish for small business owners, but this could be used anywhere I think.

What is very useful is the simple analysis of weaknesses and a journey through what needs to be done to win the tenders. The consideration for small businesses is and the detail here is very appealing. Also, Very precise, highly readable through excellent structure and step by step approach, while filled with practical tips & tricks.

The best parts of the book include the Lessons from the Trail that summarize the key points in each section, the one page power map, and the discussion on bribery and corruption in the government tendering process.

In the last chapter of the book, Monica "Wraps it all Up" by describing the book as a "no-nonsense playbook for the overwhelmed small business hustler who wants to navigate through the complex government tendering process and win."

A definite winner and one book you must read if you are a business owner!
