Thirty and single? Getcha ass to the Gathering!
Ugh. Gabriella Wickham thought turning 30 was bad enough, but now she's been invited (ordered) to attend this year's Gathering (werewolf speed dating). Having a Mark on her arm means that she's one of the few human women destined to mate with not one, but two Alpha werewolves. Thank goodness werewolves don't come in "ugly". After her sister Scarlet mates the Ruling Alphas, things really start to get interesting. Gabby runs into not one, but two hotter than hot werewolves who make her tingle in all the right places. Yum. Of course, "yum" comes with baggage of both the mental and female kind. Lovely. Luckily it's nothing a few punches and a good talking to can't cure. Maybe...-ish.
Berke Davis and Jack Wright know that lush, curvaceous Gabriella is their mate. Who cares that they're currently not part of an Alpha pair? Details, details. Burke has been half bound to his best friend Jack since they were four, but the past keeps them from solidifying their pairing and taking up the mantle of Alpha. Berke understands his friend's feelings, but Jack is about to get a lesson on living and loving. Berke just hopes the lessons are learned before they both lose Gabriella. Especially when she is challenged by a rival to first blood...a challenge that could end in very permanent, and deadly, consequences...for Gabriella.

If you would have asked me if I thought I could love this book more than book one I would have said no! But Author Celia Kyle did it again! This book rivals book one with the hilarious one-liners and snarkiness. I was in tears yet again! Gabriella has brains to back up her snarky bad self.
One of my favorite things about this series is that all the ladies are not size twos. They are average woman with all the insecurities that go along with them.
Gabriella Wickham is pissed she was summoned to the gathering and was equally pissed when one of her Alpha males rejects her. I mean how dare him! This girl is pure awesomeness. Gabriella is already a little insecure do to her weight and rejection does not help. I loved that both guys put her at ease and did not let her hide from them.
Gabriella learns quickly that there is more than meets the eyes with Berke Davis and Jack Wright besides being edible. And just when this witty woman thinks things cannot get any worse she is challenged by a female wolf to be Berke’s mate! I was freaking out for her. Luckily her boys pull their heads out and give her pointers. Nothing like the thought of losing your mate to rein you in. And let me tell you. This fight scene had me laughing so stinking hard. Gabriella is crazy. Stop drop and roll baby!
Let’s talk about the boys shall we, Berke Davis has always thought about wanting a mate to help is best friend and his alpha partner Jack realize there can be love and a balance to power. Berke is sexy and controlling in all the right ways ladies. I just loved this man! Even if he was a man-whore… or wolf-whore you might say.
Jack is broken and needs Gabriella’s love to help heal his heart if he lets her in. This man had me growling at him. Being sexy as hell does not give you the right to be an ass. And when I learned about his past I wanted to grab him and give him a monster hug and just love him. He deserves to be an ass sometimes.
Okay, I cannot leave my girl Scarlet out of this review. She had one-liners to spare in this book as well.
“Lemme ask you something: I am the ruler of the vagina, right? Queen of the Vaginaville, home of the platinum plated hoo-ha. So, how does it feel to have your passport revoked?”

The massive amount of female-on-female misogyny was also a turn-off while reading this book. There's next to nothing known about Hannah other than a thing she had with Berke, and her thinking she own Berke based on that thing. That just makes her annoying. All the misogyny expressed toward her over that was unnecessary.
The fight between Gabriella and Hannah was ridiculously over the top. I was actually rooting for Hannah to win just because the Wickham sisters were being so obnoxious. Why is it that all of the derogatory terms used toward Hannah and "jokingly" towards the sisters is only used toward the women but no the men sleeping with them? Considering the Wickham sisters are each sleeping with two guys, regardless of it being a committed relationship, it's pretty hypocritical of them to be bashing other women in such a derogatory and unnecessary way.
I feel so sorry for the lead male characters of this book. They're all so sweet, though at times they can act stupid, and they have to put up with the immature, spoiled brats that are the Wickham triplets. It would be better for everyone if the men just got together with themselves and dropped the sisters. I would read that over a bunch of women acting like little girls. Further, Gabriella's constant putting herself down got old really quickly. It got old just as quickly as Scarlet's immaturity towards the wolves. The way Gabriella made that guard feel uncomfortable was also just wrong. The men were obviously interested in her, even though they were acting like idiots. Being someone who has seen a lot of people with traumatic pasts, it made me so angry to see all the hate being put on Berke and Jack. Jack's unwillingness to move forward because he doesn't want to hurt his potential mate is very understandable. If I were with a guy and things couldn't work because he was afraid he'd hurt me, I'd give him that respect and space.
There were also a few grammatical errors in the book as well. It seems to be a thing in all of the books of Celia Kyle's that I've read so far. I have to wonder who Celia's editor is, assuming she even has an editor. This book stands better as a short story posted on a "for fun" writing website. As a novel, it's very weak and I'm wondering how it even got to the status of "best-seller". Even "Twilight" is better written than this, and that book series was horrible! I will be cracking open Whitney next, but this is turning into a series I won't be dipping into again and again. I will likely only open the books again to read the steamy scenes and then place them back on the shelf, because that's the only reason these books are worth reading.
You won’t regret reading this series of books if you like wearwolf erotica.

I loved Scarlet Wickham but Gabriella Wickham is so much beter than her sister. She doesn't want to go to the gathering with Scarlet and Whitney. She didn't want to be in a relationship with 2 alpha males.
Berke Davis and Jack Wright have more baggage than most woman. They are not a Alpha pair. Berke wants to be paired but Jack doesn't because of his past and family. They have grown up as best friends and always will be. Gabriella realises that they need to become an alpha pair before she can be claimed. Before she is claimed she is challenged to a deadly fight which means someone will die.
Who will win? Will Gabriella survive? Will she be claimed?
I love the Wickham Triples and the book was fantastic. Can't wait to read Whitney.

Love it. Totally loving werewolves.
Great read.
