Gallagher: The Bookkeeper

In his 1985 special, Gallagher talks how we unwisely spend our hard-earned cash. And of course he isn't really the bookkeeper, but he does know the three things that appeal to everyone: Money, Money, and Money. But forget all comes the amazing Sledge-o-Matic!

For as old as it is it's still relevant for so mamy of todays issues.
Prop comedy is the least of Gallager his lessons for life were so much more and still relevant to today's world.

The nostalgia factor is large because this always reminds me of My father he loved Gallagher and he shared that with me throughout much of my very young years, I can still remember not being able to sleep when I was little and he'd pop the VHS in and let me sit on his lap in his big Lounger and we'd watch until I fell asleep.

This great comedian had a huge part in making me the man I am today. My favorite thing to do as a child was to rent Gallagher & Monty Python tapes from the VHS store & watch them alone in my room. Nobody bothered me, my family had no interest & left me alone which was fantastic!!!

give me a break. it's not a recent show with old material. it's a recording of a show done 35 years ago. remember how you were before "participation trophies" were a thing and enjoy. it's not deserving of the 2 star ratings, so i'm gonna give it a 5, even though it may only be a 3.5 in the grand scheme of comedy.

The Bookkeeper is as uproarious a Gallagher special as any. Witty, Politically Incorrect, and or course containing strategically-placed advertisement for the Sledge-o-Matic!

I remember Gallager while I was growin up. Tried to go see him several times in Atlanta, Ga and Charlottee, NC, and could not get tickets. I did see him several time on HBO specials. He is so funny is his own way. So now I have part of his collection.
