I wanted to love this story

Libby is so superstitious that she planned a wedding to jump start a curse to marry her soul mate. Noah is a womanizer, that has fallen for his best friend and won't stand by and watch her make the biggest mistake of her life. But things don't go exactly as planned, and a mess of secrets, misunderstandings, and love unfold before them.
If nothing else, this story was hilarious. I just don't like how it was told. There are parts that dragged and then there were moments were I would have like a bit more explanation, but it was rushed. I will say putting Grams and Grandma Ruby together was the mark of genius that nearly pushed this story over to 4 stars. One thing that I was really looking for was a show down between Libby and her mother again. If nothing more than an explanation for some of the things we discover in this book. HECK, I would've been happy with just a little aside about her. She was introduced and talked about as being a big part of Libby 's insecurities. But that's all we get.
All in all, it was enjoyable. I hope we get a follow-up story.
